Cooking Tips

  • The hot air fryer can be used to cook the same dishes as a traditional oven.
  • Stir any smaller pieces halfway through cooking for optimal results of cooking. This ensures that the food is cooked evenly.
  • You have to adjust the cooking time to the amount of food. The higher the amount of food, the longer cooking time is required. And the other way around.
  • Some food may stick to the frying basket during cooking. Therefore we recommend spraying the frying basket with high smoke point cooking oil and then putting the food inside.
  • Do not use the fryer to cook food with a high-fat content (e.g. sausages) as this may cause fire.
  • You can get crispy French fries by sprinkling a little vegetable oil over them.
  • You can use the hot air fridge to heat food, as well. Set the temperature to 160 °C and the cooking time to 10 minutes.

Warning:

  • Do not pour oil or other liquids into the container. There is a risk of ignition.

Homemade French fries

  1. Peel the potatoes and cut them into French fries of the same size.
  2. Rinse the French fries properly and dry them with a paper towel.
  3. Pour ½ cooking oil into a large bowl and add the French fries. Coat the fries well in oil.
  4. Empty the French fries into a colander and let them drain.
  5. Place them into the frying basket and fry them.

Note: It is important to properly dry the French fries before dipping them in the oil and let them drain before frying. Only in this way, you can achieve the crispy effect.
