Fusion2Go 5G OTR Single Booster Designed for Large Vehicles
SureCall Fusion2Go 5G OTR
Congratulations you have purchased the most advanced and future-friendly
vehicle booster available in Canada. Your booster amplifies 60% more 5G
spectrum than any other vehicle booster with higher uplink power and lower
noise – providing you with faster data and greater network connectivity.
If you have any questions during setup, please reach out to our US-based
experienced support technicians:

OVERVIEW
How It Works
The SureCall Fusion2Go 5G OTR is a high-performing bidirectional booster that
enhances cellular signals for vehicles.
The Fusion2Go 5G OTR works with two antennas:
- An inside antenna that communicates with your cell phone.
- An outside antenna that communicates with the cell tower.
Signals sent from a cell tower are received by the outside antenna, amplified by the booster and then sent to your cell phone via the inside antenna. When your phone transmits, the signal is sent to the inside antenna, and then sent to the cell tower via the outside antenna.
Package Contents
- Unpack all package contents. For missing or damaged items, contact your reseller.
- Turn over the signal booster and record the model and serial number for reference:

return it.
Your Fusion2Go 5G OTR signal booster package includes the following items:
Before Installation
Select a location on your vehicle for the outside antenna. Multiple placement
and height configurations are available to achieve the best configuration for
your specific vehicle needs.
The antenna can be mounted on any truck, with or without an existing antenna
mounting point. For vehicles without built-in mounting points, the antenna
uses a 3/8 x 24 thread mount designed to accommodate many available 3rd party
CB mounts.
A 2-clamp mounting bracket is provided for use on a mirror rail or other
existing vehicle rails.
Additionally, an extension pole is also provided. Note, it is needed only to
achieve the clearance requirements for the antenna specified below.
Thread glue is provided with the antenna. It should be applied at each
threaded connection only after you have confirmed the proper height
configuration as the glue will make the connection permanent.
Keep in mind, the antenna mounting location should:
(a) allow the antenna to extend above the metal cab (b) be at least 6 inches
away from any windows (c) provide at least a 12-inch radius clear of
obstructions and other radiating elements, such as a radio antenna.
A “soft installation” should first be performed by assembling the truck antenna (WITHOUT GLUE) and routing the cable through an open window. After completing the remaining installation steps and successful operation is verified, proceed with permanent installation.
INSTALLATION
Step 1: Install the Outside Antenna
Once you have determined the mounting location, assemble the antenna parts by
routing the cable through the mast extension (if used) and through the cable
exit adapter.
If using the provided mounting bracket , we recommend installing the spring
base and mounting bracket before adding the remaining assembly.
Install mounting bracket
Secure bracket to vehicle rail as shown using provided hardware. Secure all
four bolts in place and secure with a wrench.
Secure the assembled antenna to the mounting bracket
Assemble the spring base and mounting bracket by placing the threads through
the opening of the mounting bracket as shown in the illustration. Use the
provided washers on the bottom side of the bracket opening thenadd the nut to
bottom of the thread to secure in place.
Once complete, connect the assembled antenna and the spring base.
Route cable
Once the antenna installation is complete, route the antenna cable inside the
vehicle. To hide the cable, Route cable from outside to the inside of the
cabin under headliner and trim to the desired booster location on the floor of
the vehicle.
If additional cable length is needed, optional 5 ft extension cable has been
provided.
Note: The outside antenna must not be collocated or operating with any other antenna or booster.
Step 2: Install the Inside Patch Antenna
Identify a location for the inside antenna on or near your front dashboard
that is
- Within 2-3 feet of the typical cell phone location
- At least 8 inches (20cm) from cellular devices and
- At least 4 inches (10cm) from metal
Next, peel Velcro backing and apply to a clean dry surface in your chosen location.
Step 3: Place Booster and Connect Cables
Select a well-ventilated location for the booster that is away from excessive
heat , direct sunlight, and moisture. We often suggest installing beneath a
seat or within the front console.
Connect the cable from the outside antenna to the connection marked OUTSIDE
and connect the cable from inside patch antenna to the connection marked
INSIDE. Tighten the connections and wrap up any loose cable.
Step 4: Connect Power
Once antenna connections are complete, connect the DC power cord connector to
the signal booster. The Power LED on the signal booster will illuminate to
indicate it is receiving power and is ready for use.
Note: Fusion2Go 5G OTR is also compatible with AC power adapter cable for
added versatility – part # SC-AC-59V28A-B.
Verify Your System is Working
Place a call in a location where you previously experienced poor cell service
and confirm that your phone is receiving a boosted signal.
- Verify the two antennas have sufficient separation/isolation from the other another.
- Verify the outside antenna has sufficient clearance above any metal objects and has at least 12 inch radius from other radiating elements, such as a radio antenna.
- Consider: Resolving the issue may require moving the outside antenna further from the vehicle cabin and/or increasing the vertical placement of the outside antenna. If you have not used the optional mast extension, try adding it to achieve additional separation.
POWER LED
During initialization, the LED will briefly flash YELLOW/RED. This is part of
normal operation. Place a call in a location you have previously experienced
poor signal and confirm that your phone is receiving a boosted signal. Normal
operation is indicated a GREEN LEDs. In the event RED LEDs appear, antenna
adjustments may be needed.
LED State | Status | Indication |
---|---|---|
Solid GREEN | Normal | Normal |
Solid YELLOW | Reduced Performance | Indicates gain attenuation of more than 8 |
dB.
Increased antenna separation is recommended. Adjust the location of your
outside and/or inside antenna to maximize the distance between them.
Solid RED| Alert – Oscillation detected| Indicates that oscillation has caused
the booster to shut off,
Antenna repositioning is needed. Verify that there is sufficient separation
between the outside and inside antennas, as well as any potentially
interfering objects or antennas.
WARNING: The booster is rated for 5-15V input voltage. DO NOT use the booster with a higher voltage power supply. This can damage the booster and/or cause personal injury.
TROUBLESHOOTING
Problem | Resolution |
---|---|
Signal booster has no power | Verify that the Power LED is ON. |
Connect the power supply to an alternate power source.
Verify that the power source is operational and the fuse is intact.
If it remains OFF, contact tech support at:
1-888-365-6283 or
support@surecall.com
After completing installation, signal has not Improved| Verify that cable
connections are tightly fitted to the booster. Try further separating the
antennas.
Note: Bars are not always a reliable measure of signal. The best way to
confirm signal coverage is the ability to place and hold a call.

CAN ICES-3 (B)/NMB-3(B) (Canada) :
This Class B digital apparatus meets all requirements of the Canadian
Interference Causing Equipment Regulations. Operation is subject to the
following two conditions: (1) this device may not cause harmful interference,
and (2) this device must accept any interference received, including
interference that may cause undesired operation.
The Manufacturer ’s rated output power of this equipment is for single carrier
operation. For situations when multiple carrier signals are present , the
rating would have to be reduced by 3.5 dB, especially where the output signal
is re-radiated and can cause interference to adjacent band users. This power
reduction is to be by means of input power or gain reduction and not by an
attenuator at the output of the device.
