Bluetooth Pairing: Pairing To A New Device

Creative BT-L3 will automatically enter Bluetooth pairing mode right out

the box and would remain in pairing
mode for first-time pairing. For subsequent pairing, press and hold the Bluetooth button for 2s to manually trigger Bluetooth pairing.

Creative BT-L3 remembers up to four paired devices at a time. To pair to a new device, repeat the steps above.
When powered on, Creative BT-L3 will attempt to reconnect to the last used device.

Unicast and Broadcast Modes

Creative BT-L3 comes in Unicast mode by default. To switch between Unicast mode or Broadcast mode, follow the instructions below.

Broadcast Mode

Broadcast mode lets the user broadcast wireless audio from an audio source to an unlimited number of supported audio devices. The LED indicator will start flashing white to indicate that it is currently broadcasting.

Note that the broadcast stream is unencrypted and any supported device can join the stream if it is within range.

Unicast Mode

Unicast mode lets the user wirelessly connect to a compatible LE audio receiver to enjoy high-definition audio streaming on a one-to-one basis.
Unicast Mode

Ultra-low Latency (ULL) Mode

Creative BT-L3 supports Ultra-low Latency mode for a smooth, lag-free and consistent viewing experience, great for time-sensitive media such as movies and games. The audio transmitter will attempt to pair in this mode when a compatible device is used. Visit creative.com for more information on products supporting ULL mode.

Master Reset

Press and hold the Bluetooth button for 5s to perform a Master Reset. The LED indicator will start flashing white while resetting. Creative BT-L3 will revert to its default state upon completion.
