IMPORTANT

  • READ CAREFULLY BEFORE INSTALLING THE FIXTURE. RETAIN THESE INSTRUCTIONS FOR FUTURE REFERENCE.
  • RAB fixtures must be wired in accordance with the National Electrical Code and all applicable local codes. Proper grounding is required for safety.
  • THIS PRODUCT MUST BE INSTALLED IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE APPLICABLE INSTALLATION CODE BY A PERSON FAMILIAR WITH THE CONSTRUCTION AND OPERATION OF THE PRODUCT AND THE HAZARDS INVOLVED.
  • WARNING: Make certain power is OFF before installing or maintaining Fixture. No user-serviceable parts inside.
  • WARNING: For proper weatherproof function all gaskets must be seated properly and all screws inserted and tightened rmly.
  • WARNING: MAX 12VAC ONLY.
  • WARNING: The main low voltage cable is intended for shallow burial – 6 inches (152 mm).
  • WARNING: Risk of Electric Shock. Install all luminaires 10 feet (3.05 m) or more from a pool, spa, or fountain.

WALL MOUNTING

FIG-1To mount the DECK series follow the steps below.

  1. Secure the Mounting Bracket to the wall, deck post or any fl at the surface by drilling out (2) Drill Locations as shown. Use the appropriate mounting hardware for the mounting surface.
    • Be sure the gasket is properly seated.
  2. Complete electrical connections using RAB-recommended connectors (ordered separately) to the transformer (ordered separately).
    • Note – DECK series is supplied with 36 inches of Fixture Leads out of the fixture.
    • WARNING: To prevent wiring damage or abrasion, do not expose wiring to the edges of sharp objects.
  3. Slide Shade on Mounting Bracket. If the Shade does not seem snug, adjust by slightly bending the Tab in or out.

WIRING

The DECK series permits operation at 12 VAC only. Wire fixture using UL- approved wire connectors (ordered separately) for SPT-1 cord

CLEANING & MAINTENANCE

CAUTION: Be sure the fixture temperature is cool enough to touch. Do not clean or maintain while the fixture is energized.

  1. Lens should be washed in a solution of warm water and any mild, nonabrasive household detergent, rinse with clean water, and wipe dry.
  2. Do not open the xture to clean the LED. Do not touch the LED

TROUBLESHOOTING

Check that the voltage at the xture is correct. Refer to wiring directions
