Sanctuary SA-PLAT-2-D Fireproof Waterproof Home and Office Safe User Guide
STEP : 1 INITIAL ENTRY
A. Install the single spoke by inserting into the upper right opening and
twisting clockwise until you feel the spoke fully lock into place.
B. Insert the backup key and turn the backup key clockwise from 12 to the 3 o’clock position to unlock.
C. Turn the handle clockwise and pull the safe door open. Once opened, turn the handle back to its starting position which will extend the locking bolts and ensure the safe does not close during setup. Remove the backup key and set aside.
D. Remove the lock face from the box located in the welcome box inside
the safe.
STEP : 2 INSTALL BATTERY
A. Locate the 1x9V battery. Install it into the battery compartment on
the back of the lock face in the proper orientation. The keypad will beep when
batteries are successfully installed.
STEP : 3 LOCK FACE INSTALLATION
A. Plug the electronic lock cable into the back of the lock face. The
connector on the cable will only fit into the connector in the lock face in
one way.
B. Align the lock face to the backer plate, with the lock face slightly rotated to the left. Turn clockwise until you feel the lock face click into place
STEP : 4 HANDLE INSTALLATION
A. Once the lock face has been e installed, locate the remaining spokes inside of the safe. Insert each individual spoke into a threaded opening and turn clockwise to install.
STEP :5 PROGRAMMING
A. To begin programming, open and extend locking bolts while the door is
open during programming.
B. Remove the brass cap on the inside of the safe door.
C. Press the reset button. You will hear 2 beeps and the keypad will
illuminate. You are now in programming mode.
NOTE: Programming mode will time out after 10 seconds of inactivity. If this
occurs press restart button and begin again.
D. Input your new 3-8 digit code followed by the [*] symbol.
E. (2) beeps and (2) green unlock LED flashes mean the entry was
successful. (3) beeps and (3) yellow lock LED flashes mean your code was not
accepted. Press the reset button and start again.
F: Confirm new code while the safe door is still open. Swipe finger(s)
across the keypad to activate the lock face. Two random numbers will
illuminate. Press them in any order
- Enter your newly programmed code followed by the (#) symbol.
If successful you will hear (2) beeps and (2) green unlock LED flashes. You will now be able to retract the bolts. If unsuccessful, repeat programming.
STEP : 6 ACCESS
A. With keys in hand, close the safe.
NOTE: Be certain the spoke hub is rotated completely counterclockwise.
B. Swipe finger(s) across the keypad to activate the lock face. Two
random numbers will illuminate. Press them in any order.
C. Enter your security code followed by the (#) button. The yellow lock
LED will flash 2 times followed by the green unlock LED if your code is
accepted. If it is rejected, yellow lock LED will flash 3 times and beep 3
times.
