WARNINGS
- Before using the product for the first time, please read the instructions for use below and retain them for later reference. The original instructions were written in the Hungarian language. This appliance may only be used by persons with impaired physical, sensory, or mental capabilities, or lacking in experience or knowledge, as well as children from the age of 8 if they are under supervision or have been given instruction concerning the use of the appliance and they have understood the hazards associated with use. Children should not play with the device. Children from the age of 8 may only clean or perform user maintenance on the appliance under supervision. Keep the appliance and its power cord out of reach of children under the age of 8.
- Make sure the appliance has not been damaged in transit!
- This appliance may only be used for making waffles!
- Do not place anything on the top of the appliance!
- Place the appliance only onto a stable and horizontal surface!
- Always keep the minimum installation distances indicated in Figure 2. Always observe the health and safety regulations valid in the country of use!
- The appliance must not be used with programmable timers, timer switches, or stand-alone remote-controlled systems that can automatically turn the unit on.
- Only for indoor use, in a dry place! Protect it from humid circumstances (e.g.: bathroom, swimming pool)!
- It is PROHIBITED to use the unit near bathtubs, basins, showers, swimming pools, or saunas!
- Power off the unit by unplugging it from the electric outlet before cleaning or relocating it.
- Hold the plug, not the power cable when you pull it out from the electric outlet!
- Do not place the appliance onto an electric or gas cooker, onto or near another heat source.
- Operate only under constant supervision!
- Do not operate unattended in the presence of children!
- If any irregular operation is detected (e.g. unusual noise or burnt odor from the unit), immediately switch it off and remove the power plug!
- Protect from dust, humidity, sunlight, and direct heat radiation!
- Do not touch the unit or the power cable with wet hands!
- Make sure, that the power cable and the plug cannot get in touch with water or any other liquids!
- The appliance must not be immersed in water!
- Unwind the power cable completely!
- The appliance may only be connected to properly grounded 230V ~/50Hz electric wall outlets!
- Do not use extension cords or power strips to connect the unit!
- Power cables must not get in touch with hot surfaces!
- The appliance should be located so as to allow easy access and removal of the power plug!
- Lead the power cable so as to prevent it from being pulled out accidentally, and do not let it hang over the edge of a table!
- The heating elements / heated surfaces of the appliance are still warm for a while after the unit has been switched off!
- Switch off the appliance after each use, and unplug the power cable! Let the appliance cool, clean it, and store it in a dry, cool place!

- The unit is intended for household use only. No industrial use is permitted!
Caution: Risk of electric shock! Do not attempt to disassemble or modify
the unit or its accessories. In case any part is damaged, immediately power
off the unit and seek the assistance of a specialist.
In the event that the power cable becomes damaged, it should only be replaced
by the manufacturer, its service facility, or similarly qualified personnel.
INSTALLATION
- Before installation, carefully remove the packaging, and make sure not to damage the unit or the connecting cable. If you find any damage, the unit must not be operated!
- Set the device on a hard, horizontal surface!
- Always keep the minimum installation distances indicated in Figure 2. Always observe the health and safety regulations valid in the country of use!
- Plug the unit into a standard grounded wall socket. Now the unit is ready for operation.
- Once you connect your device to the power network, it will start to heat, the red indicator will light up, and later it goes out.
- You can feel a slight smoke smell at the first usage. This is harmless and quickly evaporates.
- Now the unit is ready for use.
CLEANING, MAINTENANCE
- Switch off and power off the unit by unplugging it from the electric outlet before cleaning!
- Let the appliance cool down! (10 minutes)
- Use a slightly moistened cloth to clean the unit’s outer surface. Do not use any aggressive cleaners! Avoid getting water inside of and on the electric components of the appliance!
- The appliance must not be immersed in water!
- Non-stick grill plates have to be cleaned after each use. Wipe the grill plates with a slightly moistened cloth.
- Stubborn, baked-on food residue can be removed with a cloth dipped in mild kitchen deter-gents. Finally wipe the grill plates with a clean, damp cloth.
STORAGE
When the grill plates had cool down, shut the device and fix the handle lock.
Wind the power cable to the cable holder! Store in a cool, dry place!
TROUBLESHOOTING
Malfunction/Solution
- The top of the waffle maker cannot close properly : There is too much batter.
- Waffles cannot bake properly: Wait till the red light goes out before baking.
DISPOSAL
Waste equipment must be collected and disposed separately from household waste
be-cause it may contain components hazardous to the environment or health.
Used or waste equipment may be dropped off free of charge at the point of
sale, or at any distributor which sells equipment of identical nature and
function. Dispose of product at a facility spe-cializing in the collection of
electronic waste. By doing so, you will protect the environment as well as the
health of others and yourself. If you have any questions, contact the local
waste management organization. We shall undertake the tasks pertinent to the
manufac-turer as prescribed in the relevant regulations and shall bear any
associated costs arising

PREPARING WAFFLES
Waffle recipe
Ingredients
- 50 dkg flour
- 3 pcs eggs
- 5 dl milk
- 12 dkg margarine
- 15 dkg sugar
- 1 packet of vanilla sugar
- 1,5 packets of baking powder
Preparing the batter
Mix smoothly the 3 pcs of eggs with margarine (which is chopped into small
pieces), sugar, vanilla sugar, and approx. 3 tablespoons flour with a hand
mixer. After adding the milk and remaining flour alternately in small
portions. Finally add the baking powder to the smooth, dense material.
Baking
- Leave the waffle maker to operate empty for c.a. 10 minutes, in order to get it warm up well. If the device is closed, it will warm up quicker.
- Put from the waffle batter with a ladle to the cup-shaped forms up to their half, till the circular marking.
- Close the upper baking plate and close it with the handle lock.
- The device will start to heat, the red lamp will light then go out. After this wait a half minute and check the waffles. If it is necessary, bake them for more time to reach the desired color. enőrizze a gofrit.
- Remove the waffles with a wooden or heat-resistant plastic shovel. Do not use metal tools, since they can damage the non-stick coating.
- If you do not bake waffles further, pull out the plug from the power socket.
