Product Usage Instructions

Mounting the Power Adapter Box:
To mount the power adapter box, follow these steps:- Locate the designated area for the power adapter box on the back panel of the cabinet.
- Securely attach the power adapter box using the provided screws or mounting brackets.

Mounting the Monitor:
To mount the monitor, follow these steps:- Identify the mounting options available for the monitor on the cabinet.
- Choose the appropriate mounting option based on your monitor’s specifications (e.g., VESA mount).
- Attach the monitor to the designated mounting area using the provided screws or brackets.

DVR/NVR Mounting Plate:]
The DVR/NVR mounting plate is included with the cabinet. Use it to securely mount your NVR/DVR device inside the cabinet. Follow the instructions provided with the mounting plate for proper installation. -
Cabinet Door Assembly:
Assemble the cabinet door according to the instructions provided. Ensure that it is securely attached to the cabinet for easy access to your NVR/DVR and monitor. -
Mounting a Power Board (Not Supplied):
If desired, you can mount a power board inside the cabinet for additional power outlets. This power board is not supplied with the product. Follow the instructions provided with the power board for proper installation. -
Optional 12VDC Cooling Fans (NVRCF):
If you require additional cooling for your surveillance system, you can purchase and install optional 12VDC cooling fans (NVRCF). Follow the instructions provided with the cooling fans for proper installation.
INTRODUCTION
The DVR / NVR Secure Wall Mount Cabinet – vertical rackmount shelf has a capacity of up to 2U height, up to 490mm width & 480mm depth, with space to mount up to a 24″ LCD monitor. It canaccommodate most DVR/NVR’s and other access control and alarm systems, making it a versatile Controller Cabinet with power input.

Unboxing and Pre-installation Check
The cabinet is approximately 16Kg’s and care should be taken when
unboxing.Suggested: open the end opposite to the product label and place open
end on the floor or table. Slide the box up and remove. 2 cabinet lock keys
will be fixed to the side packing foam. During initial set-up, it is
advisable to remove or support the cabinet door. To remove the cabinetdoor:
Pull the spring-loaded latch and push the door into the cabinet just enough to
clear the doorframe. Do the same for the opposite side. Push the door further
into the cabinet, lift, twist and remove. (To replace the door, reverse this
procedure)
Alternative
To support the door in the open position, use an 80mm block under the door.
Position the block in between the 2 locks.
DIMENSION
BACK PANEL
- A – Horizontal distance between mounting points (440mm) to fit wall studs
- B – Vertical distance between mounting holes 353mm
- C – Mounting point for PDU. Use 4 x 6mm nuts to secure(Note: PDU is an optional item)
- D – 2×4″ Knock-aut for pre-installed power point or cable entry point
- E – 6.5×15 Slotted mounting holes for level alignment of the cabinet
- F – Cable entry knock-out point
- G – Power adapter mounting point. Use 2 – 4×45mm screws provided
MOUNTING
MOUNTING THE POWER ADAPTER BOX
- The use of the Power Adapter Box (PAB) is installer assembled.
- Knock-out H1 and fix PAB to the cabinet using the 2 screws (M4×45mm).
- J1 will protrude out of the cabinet 20 easy knock-out points such as H5, H6, H7 located on all sides of the cabinet.
- H15 is designed for use in conjuction with 50×50mm cable man- agement PVC ducting. 4-50mm knock-outs located at each rear corner of the cabinet.
- Secure the earthing yellow cable to H3.
- Use earth sticker 11 to label the earthing point.
- IEC C14-3 Pin Aus. Mains Plug (not incl.) could be used for power supply to the cabinet. 4 way Power distribution unit (PA-PDU4X) – optional item, is recommended for use with the cabinet.
- THE POWER ADAPTER BOX must only be used with this cabinet. 12 – Multiple cable strapping eyelets in the cabinet for a tidy installation.
MOUNTING THE MONITOR
DVR/NVR MOUNTING PLATE
Remove the 6 screws at the front and rear of the DVR Mounting plate
CABINET DOOR ASSEMBLY
Raise the DVR mounting Plate. Use the 2 supports to keep the plate raised. Use the 4 wing nuts to adjust the mounting brackets to the width of the DVR.
CABINET DOOR ASSEMBLY WITH NVR
Slightly loosen 4 wing nuts securing the DVR and Aux Bracket together. Move DVR up against thesquare hole DVR bracket. Then move the Aux bracket up against the rear top corners of the DVR. Secure using the 4 wing nuts. DR should be secured firmly on the DVR mounting plate.
MOUNTING A POWER BOARD (Not Supplied)

Low Noise Cooling Fan Kit -2600RPM (12VDC Power Supply not incl.)
Note: Black Sticker to face cooling fan grill for air extraction.
Installation Notes
- Gently remove easy knockouts as required for cable entry and power supply.
- It is recommended to install the cabinet with door removed. See page 2
- Allow adequate space on either side of the cabinet for ventilation-approx. 300-400mm
- Allow approx. 100mm gap at the bottom of the cabinet for the AC cable.
- Mounting holes are located 440mm apart for secure mounting onto wall studs.
- Use M6×50mm wood, metal or masonry screws secure the box to the wall.
- Use the 2 top mounting holes to hang the cabinet
- Then use the 2 bottom mounting slot holes to align the cabinet into a level position.
- Secure all 4 screws.
- If using the power adapter box refer to page 4 for assembly.
- If using a PDU – install using 4 x M6 nuts supplied. See page 3 (C)/page 5/7
- If using Cooling Fans, install cooling fans with nuts and screws supplied with the kit. See page 8.
- For air extraction mount the fan with the Black Sticker facing the fan grill.
- Connect to 12VDC power supply (min 0.5A-12VDC)
- Next, install the monitor, refer to page 5.
- If the white monitor bracket fits into a recess in the monitor, you may be required to raise the white bracket to accommodate for the recess.
- Use M6 or M8 flat washers as a spacer at each hole. Secure the bracket using the M4 x 10mm screws supplied.
- Install the monitor into position and secure using the 2 spring latches.
- Next, replace the cabinet door. Follow the details on page 2.
- Secure DVR/NVR (Refer to pages 6-8)
