DESKTOP LAMP WITH MAGNIFIER

Before using the product for the first time, please read the instructions for use below and retain them for later reference. The original inslructions were witien in Hungarian language.
This appliance may only be used by persons with impaired physical, sensory or mentalcapabiles, orlacking in experience or knowledge, as wel as chidren from the age of 8, if they are under supervision or have been given instruction concening use of the appliance by a person responsible for ther safety and they have understood the hazards associated with use. Children should not e allowed to piay with the unit. Chidren may only clean or perform user maintenance on the appliance under supervision.

INSTALLATION

1. Fix the bracket iy to a horizontal surface, e.g. on a tabletop. Suitablethickness of the atter s: 12-60 mm.
2. Insertthe lamp pininto the opening ofthe holder.
3. Connect the lamp into the mains and switch it on. (Keep the dust coverclosed when the lampis notin use.)

MAINTENANCE

Fluorescent lamp replacement

1. Switch the lamp off and power it offby unplugging the power pug.
2. Allow the light source to ool
3. Unscrew the 8 screws from the clear cover.
4. Remove the dear cover.
5. Genty pullhe tube outof the 4-pole connector.
6. Replace the fluorescent lamp with one of the same type, then screwthe clear cover back on.

Replacing the magnifying lens

1. Switchthelamp offand powert offby unplugging the power plug
2. Alow thelight source o cool,
3. Unscrew the 8 screws from the dlear cover.
4. Remove the dear cover.
5. Then the lens then becomes removable.
6. Replace thelens, careflly insertinto ts lace
7. Screwthe clear cover back on

WARNINGS

• Forindoor use only! Do not use in humid rooms or outdoors!
• Donotexpose to direct sunlight or other radiant heat!
• Warming of the base and the luminaire during operation is a natural phenomenon. These should not be covered during use!
• Unplug the appliance by unplugging it whentis notin use!
• Only fiuorescent lamps and lenses of the same type may be used formaintenance!
• Only qualfied personnel may repair or disassemble the lamp!
• In case of njury – especially with regard to possible damage to the mains cable — immediately power it off and consulta specialist!
• Ifit does not work, check the mains connection and the operation of the fuorescentlamp, and the igniter!
• Use glass cleaner and a soft cloth to clean the lens, making sure nottoscratch them!

Caution: Risk of electric shock! Do not afterpt to disassemble of modify the unitor s accessories. In case any partis damaged, immediately power offthe unit and seek the assistance ofa speciast.
In the event that the power cable should become damaged, it should only be replaced by the manufacturer, s senvice facity o simiarly qualiied personnel.
DISPOSAL
Weaste equipment must be collected and disposed separatelyfrom household waste because it may contain components hazardous to the environment or health Used o waste equipment may be dropped of free of charge at the point of sale, or at any distibutor which sells equipment o dentcal nature and functon. Dispose of product at a facilty speciaizing i the colecton of electronic waste. By doing so, you wil protect the environment as well as the health o others and yoursel. If you have any questions, contact the local waste management organization. We shall underlake the tasks pertnent o the manufacturer s prescribed in the relevant regulations and shall bear any associated costs arising.
