LEVENHUK LEVEL PLUS TRIPODS

These sturdy tripods are suitable for optical devices with a 1/4″ thread. The flip lock system allows you to adjust the height of the tripod quickly and easily while retaining the stability of the construction. The bubble level allows for setting a camera parallel to the ground.

Using the tripod

  • To raise or lower the center column, loosen the center column locking knob/ring (3) and then set the column to the desired position. While holding the column in position, tighten the center column locking knob/ring (3) to lock the column.
  • Screw the camera to the quick release plate. To mount or remove the quick release plate, squeeze and pull the plate-locking lever out and mount the camera with the quick release plate attached to the quick release place groove.
  • To change the direction of the pan bar handle, loosen the pan bar handle locking knob, and then remove the pan bar handle (2) and mount it to the opposite side. Tighten the knob to lock the pan bar handle.
  • To rotate the platform horizontally, loosen the pan locking knob (4). To lock the tripod head, tighten the knob. Using the pan bar handle (2), rotate an optical device mounted on the tripod head for panning shots.
  • To tilt the platform vertically, loosen the pan bar handle (2) / the tilt locking knob (5). Move the tripod head to the desired position and then tighten the pan bar handle / the tilt locking knob.
  • To flip the platform 90°, loosen the 90° positioning knob (1). Then, tighten the knob by turning it clockwise (VT10).

Care and maintenance

Do not exceed the tripod’s maximum load capacity as that may cause damage to the tripod and the equipment. Before use, ensure the tripod head is securely locked. It is not recommended to use the tripod in salt water. Do not leave the tripod for a long time in the sun or next to the car window. Remove the optical device from the tripod head during transport. Use standard lubricant, if necessary. Do not place the tripod next to the power supply. Store the tripod in a nylon bag in a dry place if it is not in use for a long time. Protect the tripod surface from sand and dirt; otherwise, the locks and threads may become clogged that can cause tripod parts damage. Do not overtighten the thread to avoid stripping a thread. Set the tripod only on a solid surface.
