Thank you for purchasing this Osily Panel Heater. Please read these instructions before installation or operation and leave with the appropriate person for future retention.
Installation & Operating Instructions
IMPORTANT SAFETY INFORMATION
WARNING : In order to avoid overheating, do not cover the heater.
We recommend that this appliance is installed by a qualified electrician in
accordance to the current wiring and building regulations.
- This appliance is intended for internal use only in domestic and small commercial applications, the instructions and warnings must be adhered to at all times.
- Do not cover the heater. Never cover or obstruct in any way the heat outlet slots at the top of the heater or the air inlet slots in the base of the heater.
- This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved.
- Children shall not play with the appliance. Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children without supervision.
- Some parts of this appliance can become very hot and cause burns, please ensure that the heater has been switched of and allowed to cool before cleaning etc.
- If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, it’s service agent or similarly qualified persons in order to avoid a hazard
- Please do not use the product for any other purpose. Do not use this product with an extension lead or multi plug adapter.
- For your safety, this heater is fitted with a thermal cut-out. In the event that the product overheats for some reason, the cut-out prevents excessive temperatures on the product by cutting the power to the heater.
- There are no user serviceable parts in this appliance.
- Please unplug and ensure that the unit is disconnected from the mains supply before any attempt to open the case or any part of this heater
SITING THE HEATER
- This heater is intended for internal installation and operation and must not be used for any other purpose.
- Do not locate the heater directly below a fixed socket outlet or connection box.
- Please ensure that the minimum clearance area is adhered to as per Fig. 1.
- Do not locate the heater in close proximity to curtains or other fabrics or materials. In humid areas such as bathrooms and kitchens, the connection box must be installed at least 250mm above the floor.
- Do not install the heater in a draught likely to affect the control setting.
- Do not locate the heater in any area that may store or contain paint. Fuel or other flammable liquids.
HOW TO INSTALL THE HEATER
Please use the mounting brackets supplied. The heater should be positioned observing the minimum clearances stated around the heater – see Fig. 1
- First remove the wall bracket from the rear housing. Unscrew the screws located on the top of the 2 vertical bars of the wall bracket.
- Then pull out the top bar by pressing firmly both upper parts slotted into the rear housing. Slide down the wall bracket in order to remove it from the rear housing.
- Fix the wall bracket securely to the wall through the 4 screw holes provided.
- Raise the heater to upright position. Present the heater and engage 2 slots of the bottom parts of the wall brackets in the wall heater’s rear enclosure then pull up the heater. Then engage 2 slots of the upper parts of the wall bracket and tighten the 2 screws in order to lock the device.

Power on
Turn on the heater by pressing the main switch position, the display will flash 3 times the heater is now in the Standby mode. -
ON/OFF
Press the ON/OFF (Q) button on the control panel and the heater will now enter anti-frost mode The LCD screen will display 7.0. and . -
Mode Selection
COMFORT MODE: Continually press the mode button until* is displayed and then use the + and – buttons to set the desired temperature. After you select the temperature for your comfort mode wait for 5 seconds the .. °C on the screen will flash 5 times then remain constant the temperature is now set. The comfort temperature range is between 5°C – 35 c.
COMFORT – 1 °C MODE: User cannot set the temperature. The heater will decrease 1 °C from comfort temperature which is set in COMFORT MODE. For example, if you set 19°C as the comfort temperature, the COMFORT – 1°C MODE temperature will be 18°C.
COMFORT – 2°C MODE: User cannot set the temperature. The heater will decrease 2°C from comfort temperature which is set in COMFORT MODE. For example, if you set 19° C as the comfort temperature, the COMFORT – 2° C MODE temperature will be 1 7° C.
Eco Mode: User cannot set the temperature. The heater will decrease 3.5°C from comfort temperature which is set in COMFORT MODE. For example, if you set 19°C as the comfort temperature, the COMFORT – 3.5°C MODE temperature will be 15.5°C.
Anti-Frost Mode: The temperature is 7°C, user cannot set the temperature.
PROGRAM MODE: The user can program the working mode for each hour of the day for 7 days.
Program Mode Operation
Press uMODE” until up” appears the unit is now ready to program
Current Day Selection
Press up” on the control panel to set the current day of the week (i.e 1 = Mon
2=Tuesday etc). Move the flashing arrow with u+” or u_” to select the current
day. Press up” again to confirm.
Setting the Time
After pressing up” to confirm the selected day, the hour position digits will
flash, adjust the hour by pressing .. +” and .. ” Press up” again to the
confirm the hour, the minutes will now flash. adjust the minutes by pressing
.. +” and .. ”
Setting mode selection for each hour.
- After you have set the time, press up” to enter the 24 hour 7 day week settings. The symbol will flash above the number 1 indicating that the settings for the 1st day of the week are being programmed.
- Press 1 Mode” button repeatedly until the required working mode is displayed for this hour period then press u+” to move to the next hour segment. Please see panel overleaf (Fig 2).
- Repeat this process until all hour segments have been programmed.
- At any time the u_” button can be pressed to return to the previous hour segment.
- Press up” to save the settings for the 1st day and move on to the second day of the week. The symbol will flash above the number 2, repeat the process until all 7 days have been programmed. When all seven days have been programmed, press up” again and the heater will run as programmed.
- If a mode is not already programmed for a specific hour anti-frost mode is pre set.
- Please note that there are 4 pre-set daily programs that can be selected for each day of the week, these pre-sets can also be changed to different mode operations for each individual hour segments to suit your own requirements. The pre set settings are detailed under the section Preset Programmes.
- To programme press and hold the mode button whilst in programming mode, P1 will be displayed
- Use the + /- button to change to P2, P3, P4, press the mode button to confirm the pre-set you wish, and it will be set for the day.
To change to different mode operations for each individual hour use the +f- buttons to select the hour for the mode change and press the mode button to select the desired mode and then press P to confirm.
Open window function [ ]
To select the open window function press the .. +” .. _” keys at the same time
and hold for 3 seconds, the open window function will be activated. If the
heater detects a drop in the room temperature of 4° within 30 minutes, the
heater will operate in the anti-frost mode.
The heater will revert to the previous mode automatically if the room
temperature increases by 2°, or you can revert to the previous mode by
pressing and holding the .. +” ••-” keys at the same time for 3 seconds again.
Keypad Lock Function
The keypad can be locked to prevent tampering by pressing and holding down the
.. Mode” and .. P” keys for 3 seconds. This function can be reversed by
repeating the above process.
Please note that if the heater is switched off by the on/ off switch located
on the side panel or unplugged or disconnected from the mains supply the
control panel will revert back to factory settings.

TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS
TROUBLESHOOTING
This heater is fitted with an overheat protection device, which will
disconnect power to the element if it becomes too hot, this may be because the
grilles have become obstructed and the airflow has been reduced, in this case,
please switch off by using the on/off button on the control panel on the top
of the heater and leave the unit to cool down for 30 minutes and then check to
ensure that the grilles are no longer obstructed.
Switch back on using the button on the control panel and check that normal
operation has resumed if not please contact a service agent for repair or
replacement.
MAINTENANCE
Before you clean the appliance, switch the heater off and wait until the
heater has cooled down. Use a damp cloth to clean off the heater housing
Clean the upper and lower grilles of the unit periodically
Do NOT use water, detergents, abrasive cleaning liquids or chemical agents to
clean the appliance.
For end-of-life disposal of this product please do not dispose of with
household waste. Please recycle where facilities exist. Check with your Local
Authority or supplier for recycling information.
