WARNING
- Before using the jack, read the user’s guide carefully, and familiarise yourself with the way the product works and its components, and identify potential dangers linked to its use.
- Always follow the instructions.
- Whenever the jack is in use, never leave the jack or the load unattended;
- Make sure you have enough space to work and there are no obstacles to prevent you from working properly.
- The jack can only be used at temperatures between -20°C and +50°C.
- If you notice any malfunction, do not use the jack.
- Not for lifting persons.
- The jack is designed only for lifting cars (according to manufacturers’ instructions), and the handling of any other loads, which might lead to dangerous situations (molten metal, acids, heating material, particularly fragile loads) is forbidden.
- After using the jack (when turned off), do not store high up.
- Not to be used in strong winds. A strong wind can overturn the load or lead to excessive pressure.
- The jack must never be in direct contact with food.
- If the load is too heavy to lift, you may need to ask for help.
- Check that you are not charged with static electricity before using the jack.
- Respect the maximum load.
- Make sure that the lifting capacity of the jack is compatible with the weight of the vehicle. Never exceed the recommended maximum load.
- To prevent being crushed and other injuries: never work on, under or near a load supported solely by a jack. Always use axle stands adapted to the type of load.
- Safety gloves and shoes may be necessary.
- Always use the jack on a solid, level surface. Never use on a slope, in an angle, or on a tilted or soft surface.
- Always inspect the jack before using it.
- To lift the vehicle, place the jack only in positions recommended by car manufacturer.
- Do not tamper with the jack or its accessories in any way.
The manufacturer declines all responsibility for bodily injuries and material damage resulting from non-respect of these instructions.
- Use of jack in difficult conditions: do not use in wind, rain or snow.
- Product life: 800 times.
- Standards: EN 1494:2000/A1:2008, directive Machines 2006/42/CE, AfPS GS 2014:01 PAK
- Limits to use: IP 20, IKOO: work in a clean, dry place.
- Use on boats forbidden.
- Do not use in potentially explosive environments, mines.
- If the jack is blocked, use another jack to lower the vehicle. Do not try to dislodge the jack when in use.
- If the jack will not rise, do not try to lift the vehicle. Contact your after-sales service

USE
Preparation
- Open the drain valve
- and insert the handle (extension) supplied into the pump arm
- In order to distribute the oil completely, pump the handle about 6 times.
- Close the drain valve – the vehicle jack is now ready for use.
Lifting
- Place the vehicle on a firm, flat surface and lock the wheels of the vehicle.
- To ensure safe lifting, position the jack at a 90° angle to the vehicle and under the appropriate lifting point (see manufacturer’s instructions).
- Insert the handle into the drain valve and close it by turning it clockwise until it stops.
- Insert the handle into the pumping arm and pump the handle until the soleplate (3) is in contact with the vehicle.
- Check again that the jack is in place.
- Continue pumping the handle until the vehicle is lifted to the desired height.
Caution : Observe the vehicle carefully during the lifting operation. The jack must move in the direction of the vehicle during the lifting operation. If it does not, there is a high probability that the vehicle will slip off the jack.
- Pull the handle out of the pump arm (risk of accident!).
- Secure the load with suitable jack supports before starting work on or under the vehicle.
WARNING : It is not permitted to work on or under the vehicle without first securing the lifted load in the appropriate manner: with candles (otherwise there is a risk of accident!).
- After completing work on the vehicle, open the drain valve by carefully turning the jack handle in small steps in an anti-clockwise direction until the vehicle begins to descend.
- Once the vehicle is on the ground, the drain valve can be opened again (about half a turn) to bring the lifting arm (4) all the way back to the starting position.
- Before lifting the load, check that the drain valve is closed.
- All moving parts must be lubricated in accordance with the operating instructions and maintained regularly.
MAINTENANCE
- When the vehicle jack is not in use, the lifting arm must be in the lowest position and the handle in a vertical position so as not to interfere.
- The jack must be stored in a horizontal position and in a dry place. Make sure that the jack remains in its original condition. Do not make any modifications to the appliance.
- Only use special quality hydraulic oil for the pump. Properly dispose of any old or spilled oil.
- Do not use a high-pressure cleaner to clean the jack. All external moving parts, e.g. bearings (5), lift arm fixing bolts (6), lift arm cylinder fixing bolts (7) and pump arm fixing bolts (8) must be lubricated regularly every 3 months.
- IMPORTANT : Never lubricate or grease the rods of the pump (9) and the lift cylinder (10).
- All maintenance and repair work must be carried out by suitably qualified personnel in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions.
- Caution : Do not use the jack if any parts are missing, loose or broken (risk of accident!).
TROUBLESHOOTING
NOTE : The instructions below should not be carried out when the jack is
in use.
NOTE : The vehicle jack is equipped with a safety valve (15). It has been
configured to allow the jack to lift loads up to 2 tons. The safety valve must
not be altered or adjusted in any way!
Problem 1: The lifting arm does not lift when pumping under load
- Check that the drain valve is completely closed. Close it by turning the handle clockwise.
- Check the oil level by placing the vehicle jack in the horizontal position.
- There is not enough oil. Top up the hydraulic oil and bleed the hydraulic system.
Problem 2: The lift arm sinks under the load
- Follow the instructions provided for “Problem 1”. If this does not eliminate the fault, the vehicle jack must be repaired by an authorised repairer.
Problem 3: The lift arm cannot be lowered
- The lift arm tension spring has come loose or broken. Unhook the spring or replace the broken spring with a new equivalent spring.
- The vehicle jack probably needs to be lubricated. All moving parts should be cleaned and lubricated or greased. IMPORTANT: The rods of the pumping and lifting cylinder must never be lubricated or greased.
- Too much oil in the hydraulic system. Unscrew the drain valve and drain off the excess oil.
