OC-E4A Off Camera Shoe Cord

With Off-Camera Shoe Cord OC-E4A, camera accessories can be connected to
cameras equipped with a multi-function shoe.
This product provides dust and water resistance but cannot keep out all dust,
dirt, water, or traces of salt.
Attaching to the camera (Fig. 1)
- Remove the cover.
- Before attaching, make sure the camera is off.
- Insert the OC-E4A camera connector in the camera’s multi-function shoe until it clicks into place.
- Turn the camera connector lock lever as shown until it clicks into the locked position.
- For instructions on attaching accessories, refer to the accessory instruction manual.
- The bottom of the accessory connector incorporates a tripod socket and hot shoe tightening screw.
- Make sure the OC-E4A and accessory are securely attached. Loose attachment may cause the camera or accessories to malfunction, and accessories may fall off.
- Do not touch the contacts with your fingers. This may lead to corrosion. Corroded contacts may cause malfunctioning.
- Multiple off-camera shoe cords cannot be connected and used at the same time.
Detaching from the camera (Fig. 2)
- Make sure the camera is off.
- Hold down the lock-release button and turn the camera connector lock lever as shown.
- Detach from the camera, then attach the cover to the camera connector.
- Attach the shoe cover to the accessory connector.
