Cautions and Warnings
- The Trackit T4 EEG Amplifier must only be used by a healthcare professional, within a hospital or clinical setting, who has the training and knowledge to undertake EEG examinations and is familiar with EEG equipment and practice. The User Manual must be read in its entirety before the equipment is used.
- WARNING: Do not modify this equipment without the authorization of the manufacturer.
- CAUTION: Federal (USA) law restricts this device to sale by or on the order of a physician.
Quick-Start Guide
- Ensure all labels are present, including the warning label next to the power input socket, the “Refer to Instructions for Use” label, and the Lifelines identification label. If any labels are missing, do not use the equipment and contact your distributor.
- Read the User Manual provided with the Trackit T4 EEG Amplifier in its entirety before using the equipment.
- Connect the power supply to the power input socket of the amplifier.
- Ensure the amplifier is placed on a stable surface in a clean and well-ventilated environment.
- Connect the appropriate electrodes and sensors to the amplifier according to the EEG examination requirements.
- Switch on the amplifier using the power switch.
- Follow the instructions in the User Manual to configure and calibrate the amplifier for the desired EEG monitoring application.
- Once configured, start the EEG examination or monitoring process as per your standard procedure.
- After use, switch off the amplifier and disconnect it from the power supply.
- Clean and store the amplifier and accessories according to the manufacturer’s recommendations.

Only use the PC supplied or authorised by Lifelines. Ensure labels are applied to the top left corner of the PC, as shown.

The User Manual, which will be found on the enclosed CD, must be read before operating the equipment.

The CD contains a stand-alone control program. Follow the instructions in the Readme file for installation instructions. This should only be installed on the PC supplied or authorised by Lifelines.

The USB drivers will be found on the enclosed CD. After connecting the device to the host PC for the first time, at the Windows prompt, browse to the folder CD Drive:\USB Drivers. From there Windows will find the correct drivers for the version of Windows being used.
