Product Usage Instructions

Must DO before Using on the iOS system

If your phone is using the iOS system, make sure the version is higher than V14.8. Follow the instructions below to open Assistive Touch:

1. Go to Settings on your iPhone or iPad.
2. Navigate to Accessibility > Touch > AssistiveTouch.
3. Turn on Assistive Touch.

If the previous settings have been completed, but the video still cannot slide up and down normally or can only be paused by pressing the button, try turning off the iPhone or iPad and turning it on again. Alternatively, press the middle button first and then press the up and down button to scroll the video.

Note that page turning is only supported in APPs and not on Kindle devices such as Kindle Paperwhite, Kindle Oasis, etc.

Taking Photos and Videos with the Ring Remote Control Phone

In short video mode, you can take photos and videos using the original camera and some beauty cameras. Press and hold the volume + or volume – button for 2 seconds to take a photo or video.

Troubleshooting for iPhone or iPad

1. Press the middle button of the ring to check if the cursor (small black dot) deviates from the default position.
2. The default position is indicated by the arrow in the figure and should be centered in the upper third of the screen.
3. If the position deviates too far, it may cause issues with swiping and video playback. Adjust the Tracking Sensitivity Slider until the cursor reaches the default position or nearby.
4. Make sure that Perform Touch Gestures is turned on in the settings.
5. Once adjusted, you should be able to swipe the video up and down normally.
