AJAX LifeQuality Jeweller Smart Air Quality Detector
Product Information
The Jeweller LifeQuality Smart air quality detector is a device that measures and monitors the air quality in your environment. It is compatible with various hubs and range extenders, including Hub 2 (2G), Hub 2 (4G), Hub 2 Plus, Hub Hybrid (2G), and Hub Hybrid (4G).
The device utilizes Jeweller communication technology, a proprietary wireless communication technology that allows for the transmission of events. It features two-way communication, protection against spoofing, block encryption with a dynamic key, instant notifications, and remote configuration via the Ajax apps. The maximum effective radiated power (ERP) is up to 20 mW, and it has automatic power regulation to reduce power consumption and radio interference. The radio signal modulation is GFSK, and the radio communication range can reach up to 1,700 meters in an open space. The data stored and transmitted by the device are protected by block encryption with a dynamic key. Additionally, it uses radio frequency hopping to prevent radio interference and jamming.
The device also utilizes Wings communication technology, another proprietary wireless communication technology that provides a backup connection with the hub or radio signal range extender. It features two-way communication, block encryption with a dynamic key, and re-uploading of data packets in case of errors during data transfer.
The sensitive elements of the device include a temperature andhumidity sensor, as well as a CO2 (carbon dioxide) sensor. The temperature is measured using a digital temperature and humidity sensor, and the values are updated in the Ajax apps based on the hub-detector polling interval. The minimum temperature change value recorded in the Ajax apps is also available.
The humidity measurement is also done using a digital temperature and humidity sensor, with values updated in the Ajax apps based on the polling interval. The measurement range forhumidity is from 0% to 100%, and the minimum humidity change value recorded in the Ajax app is available. The comfort level for humidity ranges from 30% to 60%.
The device also measures carbon dioxide (CO2) concentration using a digital carbon dioxide sensor. The values are updated in the Ajax apps based on the polling interval, and the measurement range is from 400 to 5000 ppm. The air quality assessment levels are categorized as normal air (up to 1000 ppm), moderately polluted air (from 1000 to 1400 ppm), polluted air (from 1400 to 2000 ppm), and critically polluted air (more than 2000 ppm). The effects on well-being are indicated as lethargy (from 1000 to 2500 ppm), possible adverse health effects (from 2500 to 5000 ppm), and the maximum permissible concentration during an 8-hour working day (5000 ppm and above).

Charts of temperature, humidity, and carbon dioxide concentration Available in the Ajax apps. The data is updated in real-time. Measurements are stored for up to 2years.
- Discrete value: 1 minute.
LED indication
- Green: Normal air
- Yellow: Slightly polluted air
- Red: Polluted air
- Purple: Critically polluted air
The LED indicator on the device enclosure lights up in the event of a critical change in air quality. The user can also turn on the indication by touching the touch-sensitive button on the front panel ofthe detector.
Automatic calibration once every 1–14 days The detector selects a calibration interval depending on the circumstances and automatically calibrates the carbon dioxide sensor. In normal conditions (ventilated room), manual calibration isnot required. The digital humidity and temperature sensor does not require additional calibration.
Manual calibration is run in the Ajax apps. Suitable for unventilated
rooms. We recommend calibrating the detectoronce every 2-3 weeks in such
rooms.
Scenarios reactions to changes in temperature, humidity, and carbon
dioxide concentration For example, turning on plenum ventilation if the air
quality deteriorates.

Backup memory up to 3 days LifeQuality 11/18 If the detector loses
communication with the hub (or radio signal range extender), it stores all
measured values. After the connection is restored, all values are sent to the
Ajax app.
