Welcome to PROZOR

PROZOR 5.1CH 192kHz DAC can automatically convert optical/coaxial channel inputs (supporting LPCM/PCM/RAW) into 2.0 channel analog audio output, and convert Dolby AC-3/DTS (including 5.1 RAW digital audio streaming). So it is widely used in homes, schools, squares, concert halls, cinemas and other public places to enjoy the stunning sound effects of DTS or Dolby AC-3 .

6. RCA Interface: Analog Audio Output Interface. (Connect to the power amplifier and other audio system.)

Connection and Operation

1. Use the optical cable to connect HDTV or other playback devices to the optical interface of PROZOR DAC.
2. Use the RCA cable or 3.5mm audio cable to connect PROZOR DAC to stereo audio system.
3. Use the USB cable to connect the power interface of the PROZOR DAC converter to the official standard DC 5V/1A power supply. (Or use the USB cable to connect to the USB interface of the TV to power the PROZOR DAC.)

TV Operation Steps

1. When using TV optical out, set audio format to “Optical”.
   • A. Samsung TV path settings
   • External speakers: Settings → Sound → Select Speaker→ Optical
   • B. LG TV path settings
   • External speakers: Menu → All Settings → Sound → Single Sound Out → Optical
2. When using HD devices optical out, set audio format to “Optical”. path settings: device main page → system settings → image and sound → sound settings → single sound out → optical.
3. If the volume (from PROZOR DAC output) is not loud enough, please connect the output of DAC with low-impedance cellphone headset, headphone amplifier, or power amplifier.
4. Compatible with Netflix, Amazon Prime video, YouTube.

Note

1. Due to the inherent limitations of the optical/coaxial interface, the volume of the device is set to 100% by default and cannot be adjusted. This is not related to the product. Please turn up or turn down the post-amplifier or speaker appropriately to use. Some TVs, such as SONY, can adjust the volume of the optical output in the system settings. Please refer to the TV manual for help.
   • For example, one of SONY’s TV setting path: Settings → sound Settings → advanced Settings → all → digital audio output volume.
2. Whether the TV speakers can make sound synchronously with the product depends on the settings of the TV.
   • Common fault diagnosis and processing methods: Before powering on, you should carefully check whether the cable is normal and you must ensure that all connectors are properly connected.

Common faults are judged and handled as follows

1. 1.Non-Power-Connected?
   • A. Check whether the power light is on. If the light is off, check whether the power supply or the power cable is properly connected to the power connector.
   • B. Check Whether the power supply is DC 5V and whether the current reaches 500mA.
2. Non-Audio?
   • A. Check if the TV or HD devices are in optical/coaxial output mode.
   • B. Check if the cables are connected properly. Try unplugging and reconnecting the cables.
   • C. Check if the RCA/3.5mm cables are faulty. Try replacing the cable with a new one.
3. RCA port, headphone port have noise?
   • A. Set the TV to stereo output (PCM/LPCM 2-channel output)
   • B. Please use a separate 5V 1A power adapter to connect the USB cable to power the DAC. Power supply: USB Power Cable — Separate 5V 1A Standard Plug — Power outlet.
   • C. Replace the RCA or 3.5mm audio cable with a shielded cable.
   • D. Check if the RCA or 3.5mm audio cable is fully connected.
4. Broken voice?
   • A. Check whether the optical cable pin let out the red light normally after it is connected to the input device (such as HDTV), and whether the optical connector is connected to the optical socket normally.
   • B. Try replacing a optical cable to connect.
5. Can’t directly use the volume button of the TV remote control to adjust the output volume of POROZR DAC?
   • The TV is connected to the sound system through the optical interface, so the volume button on the remote control cannot be directly used to adjust the output volume of the TV optical. (If the TV supports this feature, which depends on the TV itself )
   • The TV optical output volume can be adjusted in the Settings of the TV system.
   • For example, one of SONY’s TV setting path: Settings → sound Settings → advanced Settings → all → digital audio output volume.
