IN GENERAL

• The electric insecticides are used to exterminate various annoying insects. The built-in lamps (Black Light) produce a light that attracts insects from a distance. They can be used in every area that many insects exist. They are attracted and pass though the interior metal net, they are exterminated by high voltage.
• There is an exterior net for protecting birds, animals or human beings that are closed enough. Without using any chemical material it offers a complete protection against many like insects mosquitos, flies, tiny gnats etc.
• There is a special drawer at the bottom side of the device where all dead insects are collected. To remove the drawer we have to unscrew the retaining screw.

WARNING!!!
Before removing the drawer follow carefully the below steps.

• Remove the plug of the mains.
• Unscrew the retaining screw of the drawer.
• Remove the special drawer, clean the drawer and re- install it. Then screw again the retaining screw and reconnect the device on the mains.

In case of changing the lamps or the starter, follow carefully the below steps.

• Remove the plug of the mains.
• Unfasten the retaining screws and remove the protective exterior net.
• Replace the tube or the starter which is worn.
• Reinstall the protective exterior net and fasten the removed screws.
• Finish reconnecting the device on the mains and it is ready to operate.

ATTENTION!!! When the device is operating the protective exterior net must be installed.

Installation

In order for the insecticide to operate simply insert the power plug into any suitable wall outlet that is readily accessible. It is placed in a clear and visible place so as to attract insects easily.
It includes two eyelets on the top side for ceiling-mounting installation by using a chain.Models RT-14 and RT-14/2 are suitable for areas such as grocery stores, butchers , green grocers , patisseries , residential areas, etc.
Models RT-14/6 and RT-14/7 are specially fitted with a mirror on the back for wall mounting. Their connection is no different than previous while their mounting is as follows:
First you need to remove the screws 1A and 1B (Figure 1) from the side caps of the insecticide on the rear side,on the mirror side. Then on these sites will tighten the screws with the plastic bracket. Then place the insecticide into the wall at the height you prefer and support it with the two screws on the plugs you have already installed to the wall. Finally simply place the two plastic studs, the holes of the points 2A and 2B (Figure 1), by supporting it with the mounting screws to the wall.

WARNING!!!

• The device is suitable for indoor use.
• The device must be kept away from children.
• The device must be not installed in areas with combustible gases or explosive dust.
• When the mains cable is damaged, this must be replaced by our SERVICE department or by an authorized technician.

This warranty ceases to exist if the buyer does not follow the technical instructions included in official documents given by Olympia Electronics or if the buyer modifies the goods provided or has any repairs or re-setting done by a third party, unless Olympia Electronics has fully agreed to them in writing. Products that have been damaged can be returned to the premises of our company for repair or replacement, as long as the warranty period is valid. Olympia Electronics reserves the right to repair or to replace the returned goods and to or not charge the buyer depending on the reason of defection. Olympia Electronics reserves the right to charge or not the buyer the transportation cost.
