Product Usage Instructions

  1. Location of Controls: The product has various controls located on its surface. These include microphone volume, microphone echo, MicroSD input, LED display, USB input, Aux-in input, bass control, ON / OFF/volume dial, DC power port, microphone input, treble control, next/plus button, play/pause / LED light button, previous/minus button, mode button, micro USB charging port, and LED indicator light.

  3. Limited Warranty: The product comes with a limited warranty. Please refer to the user manual (E-6 to E-7) for more information.
  4. Remote Control: The product includes a remote control with various buttons for controlling its functions. These buttons include power, previous, play/pause, volume decrease, equalizer, mode, mute, next, volume increase, and LED light.
  5. Charging the Speaker: To charge the speaker, use the provided charging cable. Plug one end into the DC power port or micro USB charging port of the speaker, and plug the other end (USB tip) into a USB port on your computer or USB wall charger (not included). The LED indicator light will turn red to indicate charging and turn off when charging is completed. A full charge typically takes 4-5 hours.
  6. Product and Battery Disposal: The product contains a built-in lithium battery and should not be disposed of in normal household waste. The battery is not intended to be removed by the user. For disposal and recycling, please contact your local waste management authorities. Proper disposal of electronic waste helps protect the environment. Additionally, it is important to avoid disassembling, crushing, puncturing, shorting external contacts, or disposing of the product in fire or water to reduce the risk of fire and burns.

NOTE : Ensure to check and use both the Volume Control dial on the unit and the Volume Increase / Decrease Button on the remote control and the Equalizer Button on the remote control to fully utilize the sound output.

CHARGING THE SPEAKER

Using the Charging Cable provided, plug one end into the DC Power Port or Micro USB charging Port and plug the other end (USB tip) into a USB port on your computer or USB wall charger (not included). The LED Indicator Light will illuminate red while charging and turn off when completed. A full charge will take 4-5 hours.

Product and Battery Disposal

POWER ON/OFF

  • To turn ON / OFF the speaker, turn the ON/OFF Dial and adjust the volume.

BLUETOOTH MODE
Pairing a Bluetooth Device for the First Time to Your Bluetooth Speaker

NOTE : Refer to the user manual for your Bluetooth-enabled device for instructions on pairing and connecting Bluetooth devices

  1. Keep the unit and your Bluetooth-enabled device within 1 metre at all times during the pairing
  2. Turn on the speaker and the speaker will be on Bluetooth
  3. Turn on the Bluetooth function on your Bluetooth-enabled device and search for Bluetooth When the search is complete, select “BTSPK121” from the Bluetooth device list.

NOTE: If the pairing was unsuccessful, turn off the speaker first and repeat the steps above to re-pair again. After successful pairing, paired devices will remember each other. Unless pairing information is deleted, re- pairing is not required after the first time. If you want to pair the unit with other Bluetooth-enabled devices, please disconnect/remove the existing device and pair it with the new device according to the steps above.

  1. To increase or decrease the volume on the speaker, turn the Volume
  2. To skip songs forward or backward, press the Previous or Next
  3. To pause and resume playback, press the Play/Pause
  4. Use the Treble and Bass Dial to adjust the

FM MODE

  • Press the Mode Button to cycle through to the FM Mode. Press the Play/Pause Button to start the auto-search function. Once the auto search feature is completed, all stations with signals will be saved into memory. Use the Previous or Next Buttons to search through the saved stations.
  • Use the Plus or Minus Button and Volume Dial to adjust the volume.

Tips for Best Reception: If the FM reception is weak, change the position or location of the unit or try placing the unit near a window until you get the best reception.

USB MODE
This unit allows you to play music from a USB thumb drive with MP3-formatted files. Insert the USB thumb drive. Press the Mode Button to cycle through to the USB Mode.

MICRO SD MODE
This unit allows you to play music from a MicroSD memory card with MP3 formatted files. Insert the MicroSD card. Press the Mode Button to cycle through to the MicroSD Mode.

NOTE: To insert the MicroSD card, use your fingernail to help push it in until it clicks in. To remove the MicroSD card, push it in all the way and it will click out. The microSD memory card can be left in the speaker or taken out. It will not affect the function of the speaker as you cycle through the different modes.

AUX-IN (AUDIO INPUT) MODE
Using a 3.5mm aux-in cable (not included) plug one end into a smartphone, tablet, MP3 player, or other audio source and the other into the Aux-in Port. Press the Mode Button to cycle through to the Aux-in Mode.

MICROPHONE

  • Connect the microphone to sing along to your favorite tunes. Adjust the Microphone Volume and Echo Control.

LED LIGHT EFFECTS

  • Press and hold the LED Light Button to cycle through the various light modes and to turn OFF / ON the LED lights

TWS FUNCTION
You can connect another BTSPK121 speaker for double the sound using the TWS function. Turn on both speakers to the Bluetooth Mode. Make sure no other devices are connected via Bluetooth to either speaker. Press and hold the Mode Button and the 2 speakers will connect automatically. You will hear a beep, then an audible alert when both are connected. After the 2 speakers are connected, go ahead and pair your device to the BTSPK121 speaker.

Subject to the terms and conditions herein, Edco Electronics warrants to the original purchaser of the Product (“Customer”) that the Product will be free from defects in material or workmanship under normal, noncommercial use (“Defects”) for 1 year.

Warranty Period encompasses separate “Coverage Periods” for Parts and Labor, with each Coverage Period to begin from the original date of Customer purchase. Parts are covered for a period of 1yr. LLaboris covered for 90 days. If Customer returns a defective Product during the applicable Warranty Period, Edco Electronics will, at its option during the specified Coverage Periods for Parts and Labor (as applicable), either: (i) repair the Product or (ii) replace the Product with a new or refurbished Product, in either case free of charge to Customer for Parts and/or Labor (as applicable) during the specified Coverage Period only, and excluding applicable shipping charges for which the Customer is responsible. The foregoing states the Customer’s exclusive remedy and Edco Electronics’ sole liability for breach of the limited warranty contained herein.

This Warranty specifically excludes any Product (or, as applicable, any component thereof) that has Defects resulting from:(a) any neglect or misuse by a Customer, an accident, improper application, violation of operating instructions for the Product, any other Customer-induced damage, or the alteration or removal of any Product serial number; (b) any modification or repair to Product by any party other than Edco Electronics or a party authorized in writing by Edco Electronics; (c) any damage to Product due to power surges, incorrect electrical voltage, misconnection to any device, or malfunction of any device used with the Product; (d) cosmetic damage to the Product caused by normal wear and tear; (e) shipping damage that occurs while the Product is in transit; (f) damage caused by heat sources, sunlight, electromagnetic conditions, or other climatic conditions; or (g) any acts of God. The product is sold to Customers for personal, non-commercial use only. PThe productis not warranted for Cthe ustomer’s commercial or rental use. In addition, Product is not warranted against failure, and should not be used by Customer for any application where (i) there is a risk that any data stored on Product will be breached or otherwise compromised, or (ii) the data stored on Product is relied upon for medical or lifesaving applications. Edco Electronics expressly disclaims any warranty for any of the foregoing uses to the fullest extent permitted by law. Customer assumes any risks associated with such uses of Product and agrees to indemnify Edco Electronics for any damages claimed against Edco Electronics for such uses.

This Warranty specifically and expressly excludes any Product that is purchased by Customer as a “floor” or “display” model. Any such Product is purchased by Customer “AS IS” and Edco Electronics disclaims any warranties, express or implied, in relation thereto.

EXCEPT FOR THE EXPRESS WARRANTIES STATED ABOVE AND TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE PRODUCT IS PROVIDED “AS IS”, AND EDCO ELECTRONICS DISCLAIMS ALL OTHER WARRANTIES, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION ANY IMPLIED WARRANTY OF (I) MERCHANTABILITY, (II) FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR (III) NON- INFRINGEMENT OF THIRD PARTY RIGHTS. TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT WILL EDCO ELECTRONICS BE LIABLE TO CUSTOMER OR ANY THIRD PARTY FOR ANY INDIRECT, SPECIAL, INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING, WITHOUT LIMITATION, ANY LOST PROFITS OR REVENUES, LOSS OR INACCURACY OF ANY DATA OR COST OF SUBSTITUTE GOODS, REGARDLESS OF THE THEORY OF LIABILITY (INCLUDING NEGLIGENCE). ADDITIONALLY, EVEN IF EDCO ELECTRONICS HAS BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES, EDCO ELECTRONICS’ AGGREGATE LIABILITY TO CUSTOMER FOR ACTUAL DIRECT DAMAGES FOR ANY CAUSE WHATSOEVER SHALL BE LIMITED TO THE CUMULATIVE PRODUCT COSTS PAID BY THAT CUSTOMER FOR THE PRODUCT CAUSING SUCH DAMAGES, IF ANY.

This Warranty gives Customers specific rights, and Customers may also have other rights that vary from jurisdiction to jurisdiction. To obtain Warranty service, the Customer must call Edco Electronics Support before making a Product Return. Customer must include with the Product Return the following items: (i) a dated sales receipt that indicates the place of purchase, model number of Product, and amount paid; (ii) a detailed description of the Customer’s problem with the Product; (iii) Customer’s full name, phone number, and return address, and; (iv) a money order for any applicable shipping costs made out to Edco Electronics Inc. to cover return shipping charges to US and Canadian destinations only. Edco Electronics will not make return shipments to a P.O. Box. For shipping to international addresses, actual freight will be charged to the Customer. Failure to enclose any of these items may delay the processing of your Warranty claim. Return your Product freight-prepaid in its original packaging, or packaging that affords an equal measure of protection. Please allow 4 to 6 weeks for the processing of your claim.
