protection buitino the case, verloading will permanently damage it Avoid any
exposure to extreme heat or cold, your scale works better when operated at
normal room temperature. Keep your scale in cean environment. Dust, dirt,
moisture, vibration, ar curtents and/or aclose proximity to other electroic
equipment can all cause an advers effect on the elabilty and accuracy of your
scale. Handle with care. Gently applyallitems o be weighed ontotray top.
Avoidshaking, dropping o otherwise shocking th scale. Scals are delicate
instruments and unlike celular phones, scales have delicate sensors that
determine how much an item weighs. I you drop or shack your scale, these
sensors feel”the shock and are sometimes destroyed. This happens with al
digital scales. We design our scals to b as esistant to shock o drops as
possble, howeverthere is no way for us to protect 100% against load cellor
sensor damage.
Failure to follow these instructions will void your warranty.
Always allow the scae to accimate to normal room temperature for at least one
hour before use. Give your scale sufficent warm up time. Usually 30-60 seconds
before calibration to give the intemal components a chance to stabilize
BATTERIES
Low Batteres & bad battery connections re the #1 cause of scale malfunction ad
inaccuracy! We testalof our cal returns from consumers and 60% of them are
battery elated problems. This sounds silly but i’ true! A scale will perform
poorly when it has low batterie. Use good quality batteres & repace them often
( Remove the battries i you plan to stoe the scle for fonger then 14 days.
Ifyourscal simply won’t tum on while on battery power, itisoften caused by
loose battery connections. Battery prongs (terminals)are made of metal and
they have to bein contact withthe batteres. You can use papercip to lghtly bend
the battery prongs to have better connection. Some poorly designed batteries
have recessed or partally obstructed battery terminals. This may cause your
prongs to b touching the plastic housing of the battery
instead of the metal of the battery terminal,
