GET STARTED
FLIP Alarm Clock is set to automatically adjust local time thanks to RCC
technology (Radio Controlled Clock).
It can take up to 7 minutes to FLIP to receive the signal and adjust time
after installing the batteries inside the product.
FLIP will regularly synch with RCC signal in order to make sure the time is
always accurate.
The RCC Signal icon will flash until the connection is established and time
properly set on your device.
You can manually adjust time on your FLIP device by following the below
instructions:

Long press the SET button on the back of the device in order to set the time difference of your location vs. the RCC time zone.
(RCC Time Zone= CET Central European Time zone)
Example: for UK, set to -1. -
Press the SET button again to access to Time Format setting
Press + or — to select the appropriate format -
Press the SET button one more time to setup the local time
Use both hours (HR) and minutes (MIN) buttons on the back to set the proper time
Press SET to validate
You can use FLIP Alarm Clock to wake you up in the morning:
First set the desired wake-up time by positioning your device with the ON sign
facing up (alarm time will appear on the right of the LCD screen)
Use HR and MIN buttons on the back of your device to set your alarm time.
Make sure the ON sign keep facing up to enable the alarm feature.
To turn it off, simply flip your device opposite side with OFF sign facing up.
Alarm will ring following the below pattern:
- First 10 seconds, one BIP per second
- From 10th to 20th second, double BIP
- From 20th to 30th second, triple BIP
- From 30th second until 2 minutes, continuous BIP
You can SNOOZE the alarm by simply touching the ON sign on the top of your
FLIP Clock. Alarm will ring again after 5 minutes.
You can STOP the alarm by pressing any button on the back of your device.
The preset Alarm will ring again on the following day.
To disable the alarm, simply flip your device opposite side with OFF sign
facing up.
During the night you can light-up your screen by simply touching the top
surface of your device whether it is ON or OFF. The backlight function will
stay ON for 4 seconds.
RCC Signal ON & OFF
You might want to disable RCC Signal if you’re leaving in a country not
supporting this technology.
The ON/OFF switch for RCC Signal is located in the battery compartment.
When ON is selected, Flip will search for local signal and adjust time
automatically.
When OFF is selected, you need to manually adjust time as perinstructions
described above.
By default RCC Signal is set to ON.
