Product Usage Instructions

Resetting the UFO Locator

To reset the UFO Locator, follow these steps:

  1. Ensure that the UFO Locator has been successfully removed from the Find My app.
  2. Press the Discover Locator’s function button four times rapidly.
  3. Hold the function button a fifth time until you hear a ringring chime.
  4. The UFO Locator is now reset and ready to be paired to a new Apple ID.

Pairing the UFO Locator

To pair the UFO Locator with your Apple ID, please follow these steps:

  1. Make sure the UFO Locator is in reset mode (refer to the previous section).
  2. Open the Find My app on your Apple device.
  3. Select “Add Device” and choose “UFO Locator” from the available devices list.
  4. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the pairing process.

Getting Started

Power On/ Off:

  • Press the UFO Locator Function Button once to turn it on. It should beep once to indicate that it is powered on.
  • To power off, hold the same button for at least three seconds. You will hear two beeps to indicate that vour UFO Locator is powered off.

Check For Updates:
To use the Apple Find My app to locate UFO Locator, the latest version of iOS®, iPadOS® or macOS® is recommended. The Find Items app on Apple Watch® requires the latest version of watchOS

Add Your UFO Locator

Start the App

  • Open Find My app on your supported iPhone® or iPad®
  • Allow notifications from the app

Connect your UFO Locator

  • Power on your UFO Locator
  • Tap “+” then “Add Other Item”
  • Once your UFO Locator is located, tap “Connect”
  • Choose a recognizable name and emoji for your Item Locator and tap “Continue”
  • Find My will ask for confirmation to add your UFO Locator to your
  • Apple ID – tap “Continue”
  • Tap “Finish” and your UFO Locator will be set up and ready to be connected to whatever item you wish to locate, e.g., your keys

Locate Your Item

Find UFO Locator when it is Nearby

  • Open Find My app and select the “Items” tab or open the Find Items app on your Apple Watch
  • Tap on your UFO Locator from the list
  • Tap “Play Sound” to make your UFO Locator beep
  • Tap “Stop Sound” to stop the beeps once you find your item

Find UFO Locator’s Last Known Location

  • Open Find My app and select the “Items” tab or open the Find Items app on your Apple Watch
  • Tap on your UFO Locator from the list our UFO Locator’s last known location will appear on the map
  • To navigate to that last known location, tap “UFO” to open the Maps app

Find Item When Out of Range

Enabling “Notify When Left Behind”

  • Open Find My app and select the “Items” tab or open the Find Items app on your Apple Watch
  • Tap on your UFO Locator from the list
  • Under “Notifications”, enable the “Notify When Left Behind” toggle
  • You will receive a notification when you leave your UFO Locator behind and it’s no longer in range of your device

Enabling “Notify When Found”

  • Under “Notifications”, enable the “Notify When Found” toggle
  • When your UFO Locator is seen by anotherFind My enabled device, you will receive a notifcation of its updated location
    Note: “Notify When Found” can only be activated when your UFO Locator is out of range

When Your Item is Lost

Enabling ulost Mode

  • Open Find My app and select the “Items” tab or open the Find Items app on your Apple Watch
  • Tap on your UFO Locator from the list
  • Under “Lost Mode”, tap “Enable”
  • A screen detailing Lost Mode will pop up, tap”Continue”
  • Enter your phone number or email address and tap “Next”
  • You may enter a message that will be shared with the person that finds your item
  • Tap “Activate” to enable “Lost Mode”
  • Note: When “Lost Mode” is enabled, “Notify When Found” is automatically enabled
  • Note: When “Lost Mode” is enabled, your UFO Locator is locked and cannot be paired to a new device

Resetting Your UFO Locator

Remove the UFO Locator from Find My™ app

  • Open Find My app and select the “Items” tab
    Tap on your UFO Locator from the list

  • Please ensure “Lost Mode” is disabled
    Scroll to the bottom of the screen and tap “Remove Item”

  • A summary will open, tap “Remove” to confirm

Factorv Reset Your UFO Locator:

  • After successfully removing the UFO Locator from Find My™ app,press the Discover Locator’s unction button four times rapidly and then hold it a fifth time until you hear a ringring chime.
  • The UFO Locator is now reset and ready to be paired to a new Apple ID.
