Berore using the projector, check if all components, including the projecto,
USB Cable, USB adapter intact.
if any component is broken, contact our customer service team tor repair or
replace before operating the product.

Specifications
INSTALLATION
For best projection result, please ensure the projector is placed at a
location that meets the following minimum requirement:
U Adark room (with no lugnt polution such as IV or table lamp)
Projector facing towards a ceiling / wall that has at lease 9 ft x 9 ft flat
surface
U Projector being placed 5 ft- 8 ft from the ceiling/ wall
- Step 1 : install the disc onto the disc tray.
- Remove the discs tray from the projector
- Align and press the disc to the disc tray
- Turn the disc counter-clockwise to fixate the disc. Hold the gear wheel on the disc tray with a finger when you turn the disc
- Srep 2: Insert the disc tray to the projector with the font side focing towards lens
- Step 3: Connect Odessey X1 to USB cable and USB adapter
- Step4: Press the power button. The LED projection and laser stars will gradualy illuminate.
- Steps:5 Rotote the focus dial to adjust the projection clarity until you get a dear image.
How to Adjust Focus Dial?
YOU MUST ADIUST FOCUS DIAL in order to get a clear image of the projection.
Rotate the focus dial cockwise or counter-clockwise until the center of the
projection image is clear and focused.
For best clarity, you may need to try back and forth and rotate delicately
when image is starting to get clear.
If you are setting up the projector for the first time, turn the focus dial
clockwise all the way to the end, and then turn counter-clockwise gradually
until you get a clear focus.
Due to the optical structure of the projector, the surrounding area may not be
as clear as the center area for Some discs, especially when the lens is placed
at an angle, or the projection is not on a flat surtace. Ihis is normal due to
principle of optical imaging. This is not a product defect.
FOR BEST PROJECTION RESULT:
- The darker the display area, the brighter the projection image will appear
- Ensure the projector is facing towards as close to the center of the wall/ceiluing as possible
- Ensure the lens is facing perpendicularly to the wal/ceiling
- Ensure the center area is focused before the surrounding area
How to Install or Change a Disc?
The disc MUST be fixated to the disc tray before use.Turn off the projector
before removing the disc tray to avoid sudden brightness change that may hurt
your eyes.
To remove an existing disc, hold the gear wheel with one finger. Use two
fingers of your other hand to hold the disc and turn it clockWIse.
To install a disc, align and press the disc to the disc tray. Then turn the disc counter-clockwise to fixate the disc. Hold the gear wheel on the disc tray with a finger when you tum the disc.
How to Adjust Projection Angle
Hold the top part of the projector and pull up the lens to adjust the projection angle. Avoid touching the lens.
You can adjust angle to 0-90°. Spin the projector back and forth to find a ceiling/wall position that has largest flat surface area.
Rotate the lens all the way up, to point the projection to the ceiling.
Other Functions
Child Lock
Press and hold the laser button on the projector for 10 sec and laser will
blink for 2 sec, which means the child lock is on. When child lock is turned
on, laser is disabled and cannot be turned on by either the laser button on
the projector or remote control. To turn off child lock, press and hold the
laser button for 10 sec again.
Timer
Press the timer button on the projector once to switch timer among 15 min, 30
min and 60 min. If no timer is set, the projector will turn off automatically
after 3 hours of operation.Alternatively, you can use the timer buttons on the
remote control to set a timer
Adjust rotation speed
Press the rotation button on the projector once to switch roration speed
between slow, medium, fast level. Alternatively, you can use the rotation
speed button on the remote control to increase or decrease rotation speed.
Adjust laser brightness
Press the laser button on the projector once to switch laser brightness
between low, medium, high level. Alternatively, you can use the brightness
setting buttons on the remotecontrol to increase or decress laser brightness.
Blinking laser stars
Press the laser button on the projector 4 times to turn on blinking laser
effect. Alternatively, you can use the blinking laser button on the remote
control to turn on blinking laser effect.
FAQ
Why is the projection image is so vague?
- Ensure the disc is fixated (locked) onto the disc tray
- Ensure the disc is installed correctly to the disc tray with correct side facing up
- Rotate the focus dial back and forth to adjust the focus. Read the How to adjust focus dial’ section of this manual for more details
- The focus of each disc may slightly differ. You may need to adjust focus slightly when you change to a new disc
- Ensure the plastic film covering the lens is removed
WhyI cannot see any projection inmage?
- Ensure the projector is placed in a dark room and all lights are turned off
- Ensure the projector is correctly powered
- Check if the USB adapter or USB cable is broken
- Press the power button once firmly
- Ensure the lens is not covered by any object
Can I power the projector with a power bank?
You may use a power bank that has DC 5V 1A USB-A output to power the projector
for a short time use
Can I use it in the living room?
Yes. You may use the projector in any indoor rooms. However, for best
projection result.please ensure the room is as dark as possible. Some discs
may work when some ambient light is on, such as TV or a night light. But
generally, the darker this display area, the brighter the projection image
will appear
Why does laser look so bright on some discs?
While X1 is designed to fit comprehensive night light environment, some discs
focus on the reality or clearity of space and universe. In such case, some
black and white discs such as Earth and Moon’and’Southern Hemisphere’do not
fit laser’s brightness.You can try different discs that works better with
laser. You can always adjust the laser brightness with remote control for best
result
What should I do if the projector is broken?
This product carries a limted warranty against defects in workmanship and
material. LaView agrees to replace the defective product free of charge within
the stated warranty period. Please contact our customer service team
immediately if the product becomes defective
