Product Usage Instructions

Initial Setup:
Prior to using the Wing Tarp for the first time, it is recommended to set it up as a trial run to familiarize yourself with its assembly process.

Wind Protection:
If you expect strong winds, it is advised to replace the regular tent pegs with storm pegs. Avoid using the guy lines or thin ground for securing the tarp tent. Instead, opt for stronger pegs and anchor points.

Cleaning and Maintenance:
To ensure the longevity of the Wing Tarp, follow these cleaning and maintenance tips:

  • Do not expose the tarp to direct sunlight for extended periods of time, as prolonged exposure to UV rays may cause damage.
  • Robens Products are designed for camping use and are not intended for permanent usage. They are typically recommended for 2-5 weeks of usage per year.
  • Avoid camping near the sea or lake, as the presence of moisture can further enhance the effect of UV radiation.
  • Do not spray insecticides on or near the tarp, as they may cause damage.
  • Store the tarp in a dry and well-ventilated area after usage. Make sure it is completely dry before storing to prevent the growth of mold and mildew.
  • Never wash the tarp in a washing machine or have it chemically cleaned. Instead, remove dirt using a damp cloth or sponge.

Repairing Loose Tape and Seams:
If the tape on the tarp becomes loose due to prolonged exposure to the sun, you can repair it by following these steps:

  1. Remove the loose tape from the affected area.
  2. Use a seam sealer to re-seal the seams.
  3. Apply a waterproof spray to ensure proper water resistance.
