STATEMENT OF USE
This stacklight is designed for operator’s guidance and is to be connected to
the eBUS port of the Desoutter CVI3 range of controllers.
No other use will be permitted.
For professional use only.
ON RECEIVING THE STACKLIGHT
- Check the following items are included in the packing box:

- 2 DIN Rail holders + 4 screws
- Termination plug SubD 9 pt
- 2 mounting plates
- 2 screws M4x10
- Stacklight keys
OVERALL DIMENSIONS IN MM
MOUNTING
Wall mounting
- Secure the stacklight as shown below by using 2 M6 screws (not supplied in the kit).
Mounting on DIN rail
The stacklight is designed to be mounted on an Ω-type DIN rail.
DIN rail TS 35
Length: 115 mm minimum
- First position the 2 holders on the stacklight as shown below by using the 4 self tapping screws supplied in the kit.
- Clip the stacklight on the rail.
Mounting on aluminium profile
- First position the 2 mounting plates on the stacklight as shown below by using the 2 screws supplied in the kit.
- Mount the stacklight on the aluminium profile.
STACKLIGHT CONNECTION
Legend
- eBUS cable connection
- Termination plug SubD-9pt
Put the termination plug when:
– the stacklight is unique on the eBUS network.
– the stacklight is the last accessory on the eBUS network.
STACKLIGHT POSITION
-
Remove the cap from the encoding wheel.

By using a screwdriver, select the position number of the stacklight on the eBUS cable.
(1-9 and A-F) 1 being the first position, F the last (F=15). -
Put the cap back on the wheel.
CONTROLLER CONNECTION
- Connect the eBUS cable to the bottom panel of the controller (see below).
24V-1A is supplied from the controller to power the stacklight.
Max current: 270 mA @ 24V DC
FRONT PANEL

- Encoding wheel
- Push-button
- Label dedicated to the push-button
- Key with 2 positions: left/right
- Label dedicated to the key
- Power LED
- Buzzer
LABELING
Disassembly
- Loosen the 4 screws on the left side of the stacklight as shown below.
- Remove the labels and write the description with a pencil.
Reassembly
Ensure that the seal is correctly mounted.
- Add some glue and tighten the screws as shown below:
CUSTOMIZING THE LEDS
Colors by default
Legend
- Red
- Orange
- Green
- Blue
How to change the order
- Remove each LED by unscrewing a 1/4 turn right.
- Reassemble the LEDs in the desired order.
- Put the cap back on the top.
STACKLIGHT CONFIGURATION
You will need CVI CONFIG software to configure the stacklight.

Refer to chapter “I/O and accessories” in CVI CONFIG user manual.
Inputs
There are 3 inputs:
– Push-button
– Key – right position
– Key – left position -
Assign an input event to each input.
Outputs
There are 5 outputs:
– Lamp 4
– Lamp 3
– Lamp 2
– Lamp 1
– Buzzer -
Assign an output event to each output.
Changing output settings can affect actuators connected to the controller.
