MAKING THE CONNECTION

CONNECTING TO YOUR KARAOKE MACHINE

  1. Insert two AA batteries into the microphone (must follow the polarity engraved inside the battery compartment) by opening the cover of the battery compartment.
  2. Replace the battery compartment cover and tighten the cover.
  3. Insert two active AAA batteries into the receiver (must follow the polarity engraved inside the battery compartment) by unscrewing the cover of the battery compartment.
  4. Replace the battery compartment cover and tighten the screw.
  5. Plug the receiver into the Microphone Input Jack of your karaoke machine.
  6. Extend the wire antenna of the receiver fully.
  7. Set the switch on your karaoke machine to the ON position.
  8. Adjust the Master Volume and Mic Volume Controls of your karaoke machine to a comfortable level.
  9. Set the switch on the receiver to the ON position.
  10. Set the switch on the microphone to the top ON position. Your Wireless Microphone is now ready for use!

MICROPHONE SETTINGS
The switch on the Wireless Microphone has two settings:

  1. ON — The switch is in the top position. The microphone will function. The “Display” is on. The microphone will use battery power. A microphone display shows 943MHz, receiver turn green light; B microphone display shows 948MHz, receiver turns red light. Turn on the A and B microphones at the same time, the receiver turns orange light.
  2. OFF — The switch is in the bottom position. The microphone will not function. The ” Display” is off. The microphone will not consume battery power.

IMPORTANT NOTE:
When the microphone switch is set to OFF, noise may be generated from the karaoke machine. Please make sure to reduce both the MASTER VOLUME and MIC VOLUME to the low level OR switch off the receiver before turning off your microphone.

CARE AND MAINTENANCE

  • Place the microphone and receiver away from sources of direct sunlight or excessive heat.
  • Do not clean your unit with water directly. Clean the microphone and receiver with a soft, clean cloth slightly moistened with plain lukewarm water only.
  • Stronger cleaning agents, such as Benzene, thinner or similar materials can damage the surface of the unit.
  • To ensure long battery life, please make sure that both the Receiver and the Microphone are set to the OFF position when not in use. To be absolutely certain, we advise you to remove all the batteries from the Microphone and Receiver when they are not in use.
  • Remove the Receiver from the Microphone Input Jack of your karaoke machine when not in use. This will reduce the possibility of damage to the Receiver.

BATTERY PRECAUTIONS

  1. Batteries must be placed under adult supervision.
  2. Use only the size and type of batteries specified. The use of alkaline batteries is recommended.
  3. Do not use rechargeable batteries.
  4. Place batteries based on the polarity as indicated inside the battery compartment. The reversed battery may cause damage to the device.
  5. DO NOT mix different types of batteries and DO NOT mix new and exhausted batteries.
  6. DO NOT charge non-rechargeable batteries as they can be overheated and rupture.
  7. When not using the unit for a prolonged period of time, please remove the battery to avoid possible damage caused by a leaking battery.
  8. DO NOT short circuit the supply terminals of the battery.
  9. Exhausted batteries must be removed from the product.
  10. DO NOT throw batteries into the fire. They may explode.

TROUBLESHOOTING

PROBLEM POSSIBLE CAUSE SOLUTION
The microphone with “Display” lights up but no sound The microphone is not

A karaoke machine is not plugged in and switched on Check the power

connection of the karaoke machine and make sure it has been switched on

The receiver had not been switched on| Make sure the receiver is switched on and the “ON” indicator lights

The receiver with the “ON” indicator lights up but no sound| The receiver had not been properly connected to a karaoke machine| Check the connection of the receiver and make sure the karaoke machine is switched on
The microphone had not been switched on| Make sure the microphone is switched on
A karaoke machine is not plugged in and switched on| Check the power connection of the karaoke machine and make sure it has been switched on
