Product Usage Instructions
- Remove the protective cover from the Battery Charger.
- Connect the Battery Charger to a power source using the provided power cord.
- Insert the compatible Battery Pack LP-E6N/LP-E6 into the Battery Charger.
- The charge lamp display will indicate the recharge level of the battery:
- 0-50%: Flashes 1 time/second (Color: Orange)
- 50-75%: Flashes 2 times/second (Color: Orange)
- 75% or higher: Flashes 3 times/second (Color: Green)
- Charge completed: Lights on (Color: Green)
- Leave the Battery Pack in the Battery Charger until the charge is completed.
- Using an incompatible battery charger or product may result in malfunction or accidents for which Canon cannot be held liable.
- If any problems occur during recharging, refer to the Troubleshooting Guide in the camera’s instruction manual.

Thank you for purchasing a Canon product. Battery Charger LC-E6/LC-E6E is
dedicated to recharging Battery Pack LP-E6N/LP-E6.
Also read “Tips for Using the Battery and Charger” in the camera’s instruction
manual.
Recharging the Battery

Remove the protective cover. (Fig.1)

Attach the battery. (Fig. 2)
- As shown in the illustration, attach the battery securely.
- To detach the battery, follow the above procedure in reverse.

Recharge the battery.
For LC-E6 (Fig. 3-1)-
As shown by the arrow, flip out the battery charger’s prongs and insert the prongs into a power outlet.
For LC-E6E (Fig. 3-2) -
Connect the power cord to the charger and insert the plug into the power outlet.

Recharging starts automatically, and the charge lamp turns orange and flashes.

About 2 hours 30 minutes is needed to fully recharge a completely exhausted battery at room temperature (+23°C/73″F). The exact charging time varies significantly depending on the ambient temperature and remaining charge level.

To ensure safe recharging under low temperature conditions (+5’C to +10’C/41’F to 50″F), the recharging time is longer (up to approximately 4 hours).

Do not recharge any battery other than Battery Pack LP-E6N/ LP-E6.
Battery Pack LP-E6N/LP-E6 is dedicated to Canon products only. Using it with
an incompatible battery charger or product may result in malfunction or
accidents for which Canon cannot be held liable.

Canada Only
The limited warranty set forth below is given by Canon U.S.A., Inc. (Canon
U.S.A.) in the United States or Canon Canada Inc. (Canon Canada) in Canada
with respect to the Canon brand EOS Digital Camera, as well as with respect to
the accessories packaged with this limited warranty (collectively the
“Products”, when purchased and used in the United States or Canada. The
Products are the only Products to which this limited warranty applies.
Your Products, when delivered lo you in new condition in its original
container, are warranted against defects in materials or workmanship as
follows: for a period of one (1) year from the date of anginal purchase,
defective parts or defective Products returned lo Canon U.S.A. or Canon
Canada, or their authorized Products service providers, as applicable, and
proven to be defective upon inspection. will be repaired with new or
comparable rebuilt parts or exchanged for refurbished Products, as determined
by Canon U.S.A. or Canon Canada, or the authorized Products service provider.

Note that a dated proof of purchase is required at the time of service. This
requirement will be satisfied by providing a copy of your dated bill of sale.

MAIL-IN SERVICE
MAJL-JN SERVICE is a program under which your Products are repaired by a Canon
U.S.A. or a Canon Canada authorized Products service provider You will be
given the name, address and phone number of an authorized Products service
provider, by contacting 1-800-OK-CANON
(1-800-652-2666) (Canon U.S.A. Customer
Care representative I Canon Canada Customer Care representative). It is your
responsibility to properly package and send the defective Products, together
with a copy of your dated proof of purchase. a complete explanation of the
problem and a return address to the authorized Products service provider at
your expense. Do not include any other items with the defective Products. The
defective Products covered by this limited warranty will be repaired and
returned to you without charge by the authorized Products service provider.
Any Products received by the authorized Products service provider that are not
covered by the limited warranty will be returned unrepaired, or at the
discretion of the authorized Products service provider, you may receive a
written estimate of repair at such cost as the service provider may establish
from lime to time.
This limited warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have
other rights, which vary from state to state (or province to province in
Canada). The battery pack packaged with the Products carries a separate ninety
(90) day limited warranty.
