    Risk of crushing

  • Do not put your fingers or limbs in the clamping device.
    Blinding

  • Never look directly into the light source.

  • Never look at bright sources of light, such as LED lamps or lasers, through the lens.
    The eyes can be damaged!

  • Avoid stresses such as heat and cold, moisture and direct sunlight, microwaves, vibrations and mechanical pressure.

  • Only use in dry ambience.

  • Install the system and devices attached to it in a way that persons cannot be injured, or objects not be damaged for example by dropping or stumbling.

  • Do not install the product near flammable liquids or gases!
    There is a risk of fire and explosion.

  • Use only the supplied power supply.
    Voltage-free only with pulled plug.

  • In case of emergency, after use and during a thunderstorm, pull the mains plug out of the socket directly at the plug housing.

  • Switch the light off after doing any work on the product and unplug the power cord.
    Fire hazard
    Intense sunlight is concentrated by the lens and can magnify it to the point that it creates a fire hazard.

  • Always keep the lens out of direct sunlight when it is not in use and ALWAYS close the cover flap.

  • Do not attach any objects to the product.
    Cutting hazard
    Broken glass is extremely sharp.

  • Exercise caution when removing the lens.

  • Dispose broken glass with suitable protective measures.
    Not suitable for fastening to fibreboard, plastics and hollow profiles! These can crack over time.

Description and function

2.1 Product
The product is an energy-efficient and versatile LED magnifier lamp with replaceable glass lens, It is ergonomically shaped and variably adjustable, space-saving and designed for mounting on stable horizontal supports.

Intended use

We do not permit using the device in other ways like described in chapter „Description and Function“ or in the „Safety Instructions“. Use the product only in dry interior rooms. Not attending to these regulations and safety instructions might cause fatal accidents, injuries, and damages to persons and property.
IP20: This product is protected against medium sized foreign objects, but not against water ingress.

Preparation

  1. Check the scope of delivery for completeness and integrity.

  2. Compare the specifications of product, power supply and peripherals.
    These must be identical.

  3. Check underlays and panels for stability.

Montage and dismounting

CAUTION!
Risk of injury due to unsuitable environmental conditions

  • Do not mount the product in places with direct sunlight or strong light.
    This causes eye fatigue.
    NOTICE! Material damage

  • Mount and dismount the product carefully.

  • Only attach the clamp to stable boards with a thickness between 10 – 50 mm (60364) or 10 – 60 mm (60362).
    Not suitable for fastening to fibre, plastic and hollow profile panels! These can give way over time.

  • Keep enough space around the product to ensure good ventilation and mobility.

5.1 Fastening the table clamp

  1. Position the table clamp (9) on a stable board with a thickness between 10 – 50 mm (60364) or 10 – 60 mm (60362).
  2. Tighten the screw until the table clamp is fixed.

5.2 Mounting

  1. Place the LED magnifying lamp on the table clamp (see Fig. 3).
    When adjusting the LED magnifying lamp, make sure that the connection to the table clamp is only plugged in.

  2. Fix the locking screw (2) at the top of the LED magnifying lamp as required. To do this, turn the locking screw clockwise.

  • Lay cables in a safe manner.

6.1 Connection (60362)

  • Connect the mains plug to an easily accessible socket.

6.2 Connection (60364)

  1. Connect the mains plug from the power supply (8) to an easily accessible socket.
  2. Connect the DC connector of the power supply to the magnifying lamp.

6.3 Operation

  1. Before each use, check that the lamp is securely fastened.
  2. Hold the table clamp securely with one hand and align the lamp with the other hand.
  3. Switch the lamp on or off using the operating button (3).

Dimmability

See Fig. 2.
7.1 Magnifying lamp (60362)

  • The magnifying lamp can be dimmed in 6 steps. If you press button A, the light becomes brighter, if you press button B, it becomes darker.

7.2 Magnifying lamp (60364)
The magnifying lamp has one ring with warm white LEDs and one ring with cool white LEDs. Both LED rings can be dimmed independently of each other in 6 steps via two buttons each.

  1. Press button C to make the warm white light brighter. Press button D to make it darker.
  2. Press the E key to make the cool white light darker. Press key F to make it brighter.
    If both LED rings are at the same brightness level, the mix results in a neutral white light. If the warm white LED ring is at the highest level and the cool white at the lowest, the light appears warm white. If you set the warm white LED ring to the lowest level and the cool white LED ring to the highest level, the light appears cool white.

Replacing the lamps

The lamps are permanently installed and cannot be replaced.

Removing and replacing the magnifying lens

The magnifying lens is replaceable and can be removed if damaged or for transport.

  1. Switch off the magnifying lamp.
  2. Adjust the lamp horizontally with the cover flap pointing upwards.
  3. Turn the fastening ring (4) counterclockwise with both hands to loosen the lens (see Fig. 5).
  4. Remove the old magnifying lens (5).
  5. Insert a new magnifying lens.
  6. Turn the fixing ring (4) clockwise with both hands to fix the lens.

Maintenance, Care, Storage and Transportation

The product is maintenance-free.
NOTICE! Material damage

  • Regularly check the tightness of product/screws.

  • Do not overtighten the screws.
    Threads can be damaged.

  • Be careful to avoid scratches.

  • Switch the product off and unplug it from the mains before each cleaning.

  • Only use a dry and soft cloth for cleaning.

  • Do not use detergents or chemicals.

  • Store the product out the reach of children and in a dry and dust-protected ambience when not in use.

  • Store cool and dry.

  • Keep and use the original packaging for transport.
    Pressure marks may remain visible when the product is disassembled.

Disposal instructions

According to the European WEEE directive, electrical and electronic equipment must not be disposed with consumers waste. Its components must be recycled or disposed apart from each other. Otherwise contaminative and hazardous substances can damage the health and pollute the environment. As a consumer, you are committed by law to dispose electrical and electronic devices to the producer, the dealer, or public collecting points at the end of the devices lifetime for free. Particulars are regulated in national right. The symbol on the product, in the user manual, or at the packaging alludes to these terms. With this kind of waste separation, application, and waste disposal of used devices you achieve an important share to environmental protection.
