Product Information

This product is a luminaire that requires installation and operation according to national safety regulations. It should only be installed and commissioned by a qualified electrician. Product Usage Instructions

1. Ensure that the luminaire is installed and operated in accordance with national safety regulations.
2. Only a qualified electrician should perform the installation and commissioning of the luminaire.
3. Avoid making any modifications to the luminaire unless you are the person responsible for these modifications.
4. For additional protection against overvoltage and transients, consider using separate overvoltage protection components available on the manufacturer’s website.
5. The lamp module and the luminaire have connected wattages of 6.9 W and 9 W, respectively.
6. Ensure that the rated temperature of the luminaire does not exceed 25°C and the ambient temperature does not exceed 40°C.
7. The LED module has a colour temperature of 3000 K and a colour rendering index (CRI) greater than 90.
8. The module luminous flux is 1125 lm, and the luminaire luminous flux is 711 lm. The luminaire has a luminous efficiency of 79 lm/W.
9. If any spares are needed, refer to the part numbers provided in the user manual for the spare glass, LED power supply unit, LED module, and gasket.

Installation

• Remove luminaire housing with glass from luminaire base by turning it counter-clockwise. LED are high-quality electronic components! Please avoid touching the light output opening of the LED directly during installation or relamping.
• Disassemble LED module.
• Lead the mains supply cable through the cable entry into the luminaire back housing.
• Fix luminaire base with enclosed or any other suitable fixing material onto the mounting surface.
• Be sure to use the gasket rings supplied. Make the earth conductor connection and the electrical connection.
• Assemble LED module.
• Make sure that gasket is positioned correctly. Place luminaire housing with glass onto the luminaire base and turn it clockwise as far as it will go.

Cleaning · Maintenance

• Clean luminaire regularly with solvent-free cleansers from dirt.

Replacing the LED module

• The designation of the LED module is noted on a label in the luminaire.
• The light colour and light output of BEGA replacement modules correspond to those of the modules originally fitted.
• The module can be replaced by qualified persons using standard tools.
• Disconnect the system and open the luminaire. Please follow the installation instructions for the LED module.
• Inspect and, if necessary, replace the luminaire gaskets.
• Defective glass must be replaced.
• Close the luminaire.
