iPOWER SUA12000ED Generator
Unpack Generator: Remove generator, accessories, inserts and Literature from carton. If any item is missing or damaged, contact our product service department at 1-855-888-3598.

Install the wheel kit
- Slide the axle pin(A) through the wheel(B), flat washer(C) and mount point on the frame(D). Secure them with cotter pin(E).
- Attach the support leg(G) to the generator frame with flange bolt(F)(M8X16) and flange lock nut(H)(M8).
Battery Cable Connection
A quick connect battery plug is pre-installed on the battery.Cut the cable tie securing the plugs and push two halves A and B firmly to connect them.
Add Lubricant and Fuel
- Use a funnel to pour provided engine oil into engine. Fill to the upper mark of the oil dipstick H.
- Use clean / fresh regular UNLEADED gasoline with a minimum 87 octane.
Adjust Shock-absorbing Seat
Before operating the generator, the shock-absorbing seat (cushion) must be adjusted for proper clearance. Loosen the lock nut and adjust the shock- absorbing seat so there is a 3mm gap between the top of the seat and the bottom of the motor bracket. Re-tighten the lock nut.
Start Generator
Move generator outside to a flat, level surface, away from doors, windows and vents.
DANGER: Using a generator indoors CAN KILL YOU IN MINUTES. Generator exhaust contains carbon monoxide. This is a poison you cannot see or smell.
WARNING Do not overload generator or electrical cords. Consult operation manual.
GETTING STARTED

Start the Engine (Generator).

Select the Fuel Source (Gasoline)
- Make certain the propane tank is fully closed.
- Turn the fuel valve to the “ON” (I) position.
- Flip the fuel source switch on the side panel to the gasoline position.

4a. Recoil Start (Gasoline)
- Move the choke lever to the “START” position.
- Flip the engine switch to the “RUN” position.Pull the starter cord slowly until resistance is felt and then pull rapidly.
- Move the choke lever to the “RUN” position.

4b. Electric Start (Gasoline)
- Move the choke lever to the “START” position.
- Flip and hold the switch on the “START” position. When the engine starts, release the switch to the “RUN” position.
- Move the choke lever to the “RUN” position.

Select the Fuel Source (Propane/LPG)
- Make certain the gasoline valve is fully closed “OFF” (O) position.
- Fully open the Propane/LPG cylinder knob.
- Flip the fuel source switch on the side panel to the propane/LPG position.

4a. Recoil Start (propane/LPG )

Move the choke lever to the “START” position.

PULL-TO-PRIME
Flip the engine switch to the “RUN” position.Pull the starter cord 1-2 times to prime the engine. -
Move the chock lever to the “RUN” position.

PULL-TO-RUN
Pull the starter cord to start the engine.

4b. Electric Start (Propane/LPG)
- Move the choke lever to the “START” position.
- Flip and hold the switch on the “START” position. When the engine starts, release the switch to the “RUN” position
- Move the chock lever to the “RUN” position.
- Plug in items to be powered, using only grounded extension cords.

Shutdown and Storage
- Turn off and remove entire electrical loads.
- Flip the engine switch to “STOP” position.
- Turn the gasoline valve to “OFF” (0) position.
- Turn the propane/LPG cylinder knob to close position.
If generator is to be stored for longer than 30 days, refer to the operator’s manual for further instruction.

Changing Fuels
- Disconnect all electrical loads from the generator.
- Stop the engine (generator).

3a. Gasoline to propane/LPG
- Make certain the gasoline valve is fully closed “OFF” (O) position.
- Fully open the Propane/LPG cylinder knob.
- Flip the fuel source switch on the side panel to the propane/LPG position.

3b.Propane/LPG to Gasoline
- Make certain the propane tank is fully closed.
- Turn the fuel valve to the “ON” (I) position.
- Flip the fuel source switch on the side panel to the gasoline position.
- Start the engine (generator).
