MIXER VT-1416 W
The mixer is intended for mixing liquids, making sauces and desserts (whipped cream, puddings, cocktails, mayonnaise), and for kneading dough.

SAFETY MEASURES

Before using the mixer, read this instruction manual carefully and keep it for future reference.
Use the unit for intended purposes only, as specified in this manual. Mishandling of the unit may lead to its breakage and cause harm to the user or damage to his/her property.

  • Before switching the mixer on, make sure that the voltage of the mains corresponds to the unit operating voltage.
  • Before using the mixer, examine the power cord closely and make sure that it is not damaged. Do not use the unit if you find any damage.
  • Provide that the power cord does not contact hot surfaces and sharp furniture edges. Avoid damaging the power cord isolation.
  • Do not use the unit near heat sources or open flame.
  • Use only the attachments supplied.
  • Do not use the mixer for mixing hard ingredients, such as hard butter or frozen dough.
  • Do not install and use the beater and the dough hook at the same time.
  • Before installing the attachments, make sure that the power plug is not inserted into the main socket.
  • Before using the mixer, make sure that the attachments are installed properly and fixed.
  • Do not remove or install the attachments during the unit operation.
  • Remove the attachments from the mixer before cleaning them.
  • Before connecting the mixer to the mains, make sure that the operation mode switch is set to position «0» (off).
  • Do not use the unit outdoors.
  • Maximal continuous operation time is no more than 5 minutes. Make at least a 10-15 minute break before switching the mixer on again.
  • After mixer operation, switch it off, pull the power plug out of the mains socket and remove the attachments.
  • Do not immerse the unit body, the power plug, or the power cord into water or any other liquids.
  • If the unit is dropped into water, unplug it immediately, and only then take it out of the water.
  • Do not touch the mixer body, the power cord, and the power plug with wet hands.
  • Do not block the ventilation openings on the unit body during the unit operation; this may lead to the electric motor overheating.
  • Never leave the plugged-in mixer unattended. Always unplug the unit before cleaning, changing the attachments, or when you are not using it.
  • Never pull the power cord when disconnecting the unit from the mains; take the power plug and carefully remove it from the mains socket
  • Clean the mixer regularly.
  • Do not touch the rotating attachments during the mixer operation. Do not allow hair or clothes edges to get into the attachments’ rotating zone.
  • Do not allow children to touch the unit body, the power cord, or the power plug during the operation of the unit.
  • Do not leave children unattended to prevent using the unit as a toy.
  • This unit is not intended for use by children.
  • During operation and breaks between operation cycles, the unit should be placed out of reach of children.
  • The unit is not intended for usage by physically or mentally disabled persons (including children) or by persons lacking experience or knowledge if they are not under the supervision of a person who is responsible for their safety or if they are not instructed by this person on the usage of the unit.
  • For children, for safety reasons do not leave polyethylene bags used as packaging unattended.
  • Attention! Do not allow children to play with polyethylene bags or packaging film. The danger of suffocation!
  • Periodically check the power cord and the plug isolation for damages.
  • Do not use the unit if the power cord or plug is damaged, or if the unit works improperly or after it was dropped.
  • Do not attempt to repair the unit. Do not disassemble the unit by yourself, if any malfunction is detected or after it was dropped, unplug the unit and apply to any authorized service center at the contact addresses given in the warranty certificate and on the website www.vitek.ru.
  • To avoid damages, transport the unit in its original package only.
  • For environmental protection do not discard the unit with usual household waste after its service life expiration; apply it to a specialized center for further recycling.
  • Keep the unit out of reach of children and disabled persons.

THE UNIT IS INTENDED FOR HOUSEHOLD USAGE ONLY
BEFORE THE FIRST USE
After unit transportation or storage under cold (winter) conditions, it is necessary to keep it for at least 3 hours at room temperature before switching it on.
– Unpack the unit and remove any stickers that can prevent unit operation.
– Check the unit for damages; do not use it in case of damages.
– Make sure that the operating voltage of the unit corresponds to the voltage of your mains.
– Wash the hooks (6) the beaters (7) and the bowl (12) with warm water and neutral detergent, rinse them, and dry them.
– Clean the mixer body (4) and base (10) with a soft, slightly damp cloth, and then wipe it dry.

HOOKS AND BEATERS
Dough hooks (6)
Use the hooks (6) for kneading yeasted dough, mixing minced meat, etc.

Mix dry ingredients for the dough at the speed «1-2», when kneading dough, increase or decrease the hooks’ (6) rotation speed with the operation mode switch (2).
Beaters (7)
Use the beaters (7) for beating cream and egg white, making biscuit dough, puddings, cocktails, cream,  mayonnaise, puree, and sauces, and for mixing liquid products. The recommended speed operation modes are 3, 4, 5, and «TURBO».

Notes:
– Check if the attachments (6) and beaters (7) are attached properly. The attachment and the beater are equipped with a gear intended for rotating the bowl (12). Insert the attachment with the gear into the socket (5) with a bigger diameter of the opening.
– Do not use the beater (7) together with the hook (6).
– Do not block the ventilation openings on the mixer body during the operation; this may lead to the electric motor overheating.
– Maximal continuous operation time is no more than 5 minutes. Make at least a 10-minute break before switching the unit on again.

USING THE MIXER
– Before installing the hooks (6) or beaters (7) make sure that the switch (2) is set to the position «0» and the plug is not inserted into the mains socket.
– Press and hold down the button (11), lift the support (8), and release the button (11).
– Set the bowl (12) on the base (10).
– Install the attachments (6) or the beaters (7) into the sockets (5). Insert the attachment or the beater with the drive gear into the socket marked with a bigger diameter of the opening. Make sure that the attachments are fixed properly.
– Press and hold down the button (9), place the mixer (4) on the support (8), and release the button (9). Make sure that the mixer (4) body is fixed properly on the support (8).
– Press and hold the button (11), lower the support (8) with the installed mixer to the horizontal position, and release the button (11).
– Put the necessary ingredients into the bowl (12).
– When adding the food to the plastic bowl (12), the food should at least reach the lowest scale line «MIN» of the bowl (13) to make sure the appliance can fully mix the food.
– Insert the power plug into the main socket.
– Switch the mixer on with switch (2) setting the attachment rotation speed from «1» to «5» (see the table). To switch the maximal rotation speed during the mixer operation, press and hold the «TURBO» button (1).
– Do not hinder the rotation of the bowl (12) during the unit operation.
– After the unit operation is finished, set the switch (2) to the position «0» and unplug the unit.
– Press and hold down the button (11), lift the support (8), and release the button (11).
– Press and hold down the button (9), and remove the mixer (4) from the support (8).
– Hold the hooks (6) or the beaters (7) with one hand, press the attachment release button (3) with the other, and remove the attachments.
– Remove the bowl (12) from the base (10).

Note: You can use the unit as a handheld mixer; for this install the hooks (6) or beaters (7) and use a suitable bowl.

RECOMMENDED OPERATION MODES

CLEANING AND CARE
– Switch the unit off and unplug it.
– Wash the hooks (6) or beaters (7) and the bowl (12) with warm water and a neutral detergent, then dry them.
– Clean the mixer body (4) and base (10) with a soft, slightly damp cloth, and then wipe it dry.
– Do not immerse the mixer body (4), power cord, and plug into water or any other liquids.
– Provide that no water or detergent gets inside the support (8).
– Use neutral detergents to remove dirt; do not use metal brushes, abrasive detergents, and solvents.

STORAGE
– Clean the unit.
– Keep the unit away from children in a dry cool place.

For example, serial number 0606ххххххх means that the item was manufactured in June (the sixth month) of 2006.
