Product Usage Instructions

To use the LPV-150 series single-output switching power supply, follow these instructions:

  1. Ensure that the input voltage is within the specified range of 180 ~ 305VAC or 254 ~ 431VDC.
  2. Connect the power supply to the desired load using the appropriate wiring.
  3. Make sure the load does not exceed the rated current for the specific model of LPV-150 power supply.
  4. Turn on the input power source.
  5. The power supply will provide a stable DC voltage output according to the selected model.
  6. Monitor the load and ensure it remains within the specified range to prevent overload.
  7. If an overload occurs, the power supply will enter hiccup mode and automatically recover once the fault condition is removed.
  8. In case of an overvoltage or over-temperature condition, the power supply will shut down the output voltage. Once the condition is resolved, the power supply will automatically recover.
  9. Ensure that the working temperature is within the range of -25°C to +65°C. Refer to the derating curve for temperature adjustment guidelines.
  10. Keep the power supply in a well-ventilated environment with a working humidity range of 20% to 90% RH non-condensing.
  11. Store the power supply in a dry and cool place with a temperature range of -40°C to +80°C and a humidity range of 10% to 95% RH.

Description

  • LPV-150 and LPVL-150 are 150W single-output power supplies that specifically and perfectly work for LED lighting and LED moving sign applications.
  • As a class II power unit, these two series are housed with the UL 94 V-0 rated flame retardant plastic enclosure. The IP67 design allows every model to fit the use at dry, damp, and wet locations.
  • Both series are constant voltage mode designs that various models with 12V, 15V, 24V, 36V, and 48V are offered for LPV-150 where as 12V and 24V are provided for LPVL-150.

NOTE

  1. All parameters NOT specially mentioned are measured at 230VAC(115VAC for LVL) input, rated load and 25 C of ambient temperature.
  2. Ripple & noise are measured at 20MHz of bandwidth by using a 12″ twisted pair-wire terminated with a 0. 1uf & 47uf parallel capacitor.
  3. Tolerance: includes set up tolerance, line regulation and load regulation.
  4. Derating may be needed under low input voltage. Please check the static characteristics for more details.
  5. The power supply is considered as a component that will be operated in combination with final equipment. Since MC performance will be affected by the complete installation, the final equipment manufacturers must re-qualify MC Directive on the complete installation again.
  6. Length of set up time is measured at first cold start. Turning ON/OFF the power supply may lead to increase of the set up time.
  7. Suitable for indoor use or outdoor use without direct sunlight exposure.
  8. The ambient temperature derating of 3.5°C/1000m with fanless models and of 5°C/1000m with fan models for operating altitude higher than 2000m(6500ft).
