Product Usage Instructions
- Disconnect everything from your existing cable box.
- Connect the open end of your coaxial cable from the wall outlet to the “Cable In” port on the back of the cable box.
- Connect one end of the HDMI cable to the HDMI port on your cable box. Connect the other end of the HDMI cable into an available HDMI port on your TV.
- Plug the power cord into the back of the cable box. Plug the other end of the power cord into an electrical outlet.
- Turn on your TV and use your TV’s remote to set your TV to the HDMI port that you connected the cable box to.
- The activation process will begin automatically and may take several minutes to complete. Once activated, the front display of the cable box will show the current time.
- Make sure to return your old equipment as instructed by visiting optimum.net/return.

Disconnect
Disconnect everything from your existing cable box. -
Connect the cable box
Connect the open end of your coaxial cable from the wall outlet to the Cable In port on the back of the cable box.

Connect the cable box to your TV
Connect one end of the HDMI cable to the HDMI port on your cable box. Connect the other end of the HDMI cable into a HDMI port on your TV.

Connect the power
Plug the power cord into the back of the cable box. Plug the other end of the power cord into an electrical outlet.

Turn on your TV
Turn on your TV and using your TV’s remote (not the Optimum remote), press the Source or Input button to set your TV to the HDMI port that you chose in step -
Activate
Activation will begin automatically and take several minutes to complete. Once your service is activated, the box will show the current time on the front display.
