Product Information
The Samsung cable box is designed to work with non-HD TVs. It allows you to connect your cable service to your TV and enjoy your favorite channels.
The cable box features various ports and connectors, including:
- Cable In port: Connects the coaxial cable from the wall outlet to the cable box.
- CH3/4 out port: Connects the cable box to your TV using a coaxial cable.
- Video Out, SPDIF, LAN, Cable Card, 1394, HDTV, S-Video, HDMI, USB, E SATA, and Audio Out ports: Additional ports for connecting other devices or audio/video equipment.
- Power port: Connects the power cord to the cable box.

Disconnect
Disconnect everything from your existing cable box. -
Connect the cable box
Connect the open end of your coaxial cable from the wall outlet to the Cable In port on the back of the cable box. -
Connect the cable box to your TV
Connect a coaxial cable to the VHF/UHF or Antenna in port on the back of your TV. Connect the other end of the coaxial cable to the CH3/4 out port on the back of the cable box. -
Connect the power
Plug the power cord into the back of the cable box . Plug the other end of the power cord into an electrical outlet. -
Turn on your TV
Turn on your TV and using your TV’s remote (not the Optimum remote) go to channel 3 or 4 on your TV to get a signal. -
Activate
Activation will begin automatically and take several minutes to complete. Once your service is activated, the box will show the current time on the front display.

Product Usage Instructions
- Disconnect everything from your existing cable box.

- Connect a coaxial cable to the VHF/UHF or Antenna in port on the back of your TV. Connect the other end of the coaxial cable to the CH3/4 out port on the back of the cable box.
- Plug the power cord into the back of the cable box. Plug the other end of the power cord into an electrical outlet.
- Turn on your TV and use your TV’s remote (not the Optimum remote) to go to channel 3 or 4 to get a signal.
- The activation process will begin automatically and may take several minutes to complete. Once activated, the box will display the current time on the front LED screen.
