Log Placement Instructions
Follow the steps below to properly place the MOUNTAIN OAK-24/30 log set:
- Place the Rear Log (#1) on the rear support. Refer to Figure 1 for reference.
- Place the Middle Log (#2) on the middle support. Refer to Figure 2 for reference.
- Place the Front Log (#3) in between the burner and grate. Refer to Figure 3 for reference.
- Place the Top Right Log (#4) in the bottom log cutouts. Refer to Figure 4 for reference.
- Rest the Top Left Log (#5) in the front and middle log cutouts. Refer to Figure 4 for reference.
Note: Logs #1, #2, and #3 have ridges on the bottom that secure them to the burner frame. After installing each log, ensure it is stable.
Refer to the provided diagrams for visual guidance on logplacement.
Decorative Rock Placement
Do not sprinkle volcanic rock on the logs or around the pilot or main burner, as this may cause sooting. Only place volcanic rock on the floor of the fireplace.
During the initial operation of the new heater, burning logs may emit a paper burning smell and orange flames. To vent the odor, simply open the windows for a few hours.

gas log set. Sooting and other problems may result if the logs are not
properly positioned per these instructions. Failure to position in accordance
with the diagrams
below, or failure to use only parts specifically approved for this log set may
result in property damage or personal injury.
ASSEMBLING
PLACE MOUNTAIN OAK-24/30 LOG SETS
- Place Rear Log (#1) on rear support. Figure 1
- Place Middle Log (#2) on middle support. Figure 2
- Place Front Log (#3) in between burner and grate. Figure 3
- Place Top Right Log (#4) in bottom log cutouts. Figure 4
- Rest Top Left Log (#5) in front and middle log cutouts. Figure 4
NOTE: Logs #1, #2 and #3 have ridges on the bottom which secure the logs to burner frame. After installing each log, check to be sure it is stable.
PLACE THE DECORATIVE ROCK
WARNING
