SEGWAY E2 Plus Kick Scooter
Product Information
The Ninebot KickScooter is a personal electric scooter designed for urban transportation. It is available in two models: Ninebot KickScooter E2 and Ninebot KickScooter E2 Plus. The scooter is lightweight, with a net weight of approximately 30.8 lbs (14 kg) for the E2 model and 31.7 lbs (14.4 kg) for the E2 Plus model. It has a maximum payload capacity of 198.4 lbs (90 kg) for both models.
The scooter is suitable for riders aged 14 and above, with a recommended height requirement. It has a maximum speed of approximately 12.4 mph (20 km/h) for the E2 model and 15.5 mph (25 km/h) for the E2 Plus model. The scooter can handle slopes of up to 10% and is designed for various terrains.
The battery has a nominal voltage of 21.6 V and a maximum charging voltage of 25.2 V. It has a nominal capacity of 10.2 Ah and is equipped with a Battery Management System for protection against overvoltage, undervoltage, short circuit, overcurrent, and over temperature.
The motor has a nominal power of 0.25 kW (250 W) for the E2 model and 0.3 kW (300 W) for the E2 Plus model. The maximum power output is 0.5 kW (500 W) for the E2 model and 0.56 kW (560 W) for the E2 Plus model.
The scooter comes with an 8.1-inch rubber hollow tire for a smooth ride.
Product Usage Instructions
Power Button:
To power on the scooter, press the power button. To power off the scooter,
press and hold the power button for 3 seconds. When the scooter is on, you can
use the power button to turn on/off the headlight and rear light by pressing
it once. Pressing the power button twice will switch between speed modes.
Speedometer:
The speedometer displays the current speed of the scooter and
also shows error codes if any. It helps you keep track of your
speed while riding.
Speed Modes:
The scooter offers two speed modes:
- Mode D (Standard mode): E2 – 9.3 mph (15 km/h), E2 Plus – 12.4 mph (20 km/h)
- Mode S (Sport mode): E2 – 12.4 mph (20 km/h), E2 Plus – 15.5 mph (25 km/h)
You can switch between these modes by pressing the power button twice.
Charging:
The scooter comes with a charger that has an input voltage of 100-240 V~
and 50-60 Hz frequency. The maximum output voltage is 25.2 V, and the rated
output is 24.2 V with 1.5 A current. Connect the charger to the charging port
of the scooter and plug it into a power outlet to charge the battery. Ensure
that the charging temperature is within the specified range.
Tire:
The Ninebot KickScooter is equipped with an 8.1-inch rubber hollow tire for a
comfortable and stable ride.
Note: The range of the scooter may vary depending on factors such as speed, load, number of starts and stops, ambient temperature, etc.
Certifications:
The Ninebot KickScooter is certified to ANSI/CAN/UL-2272 by TUV Rheinland,
ensuring safety and compliance. The battery also complies with UN/DOT 38.3 and
ANSI/CAN/UL-2271 standards. It is also compliant with Industry Canada (IC)
license-exempt RSS standards.

Dashboard & Power Button
- Power Button: Press the button to power on the scooter; press and hold the button for 3 seconds to power it off. When the scooter is on, press the power button to turn on/off the headlight and the rear light, and press twice to switch between the speed modes.
- Speedometer: It displays the current speed of the scooter, as well as error codes.
- Speed Mode: There are two modes available.
The top speed is as follows:
- Walk Mode : Max. speed is 5 km/h (3.1 mph). The headlight and tail light are always on and can’t be turned off.
- How to enable in the Segway-Ninebot app: Settings > Walk Mode.
- Error Notification: It indicates that the scooter has detected an error.
- Temperature Warning: It indicates that the battery temperature has reached 55°C (131°F) or is below 0°C (32°F).
- At this point, the scooter cannot accelerate normally and may not be charged. Do not use until the temperature has reverted to the normal range.
- Bluetooth: It indicates that the scooter has been successfully connected to the mobile device.
- Battery power : The total battery power equals 5 bars.
- The battery power is very low when the first battery bar is red. Please charge your scooter immediately.
- Locking Reminder: When the icon lights up, it means the scooter is locked. If abnormal movements are detected, the scooter will start beeping and the tail light will falsh.
- Cruise Mode: When the icon lights up, it means cruise mode is turned on.
