Getting started

Place the handset in the base to charge. Handset 1 is the left side of the base, Handset 2 is the right side.
Connecting
Plug the line cord into the phone jack at the back of the phone base, then plug the AC adapter into a power outlet.
The handset / Using the phone
- Standby Screen
- Displays date, time, and if new voicemails are present.
- Answer calls
- To answer a call, press OFF/CID or any number key or SPEAKER.
- End calls
- To end a call, press OFF/CID.
- Mute
- To mute your microphone during a call, press MUTE. Press again to unmute.
- Lock / Unlock the Keypad
- Hold lock symbol until you hear a confirmation tone to lock. Repeat to unlock.
- Speaker
- Press the SPEAKER button to use the speakerphone.
- Volume
- When in a call, press vol- or vol+ to adjust the earpiece volume.
- Intercom
- Use intercom to connect to another handset.
Phonebook
Store up to 50 names and numbers in the phonebook. Press PHONEBOOK to access.
Storing a Name and Number:
- Press PHONEBOOK.
- Press SELECT.
- Enter name and press SELECT.
- Enter number and press SELECT.
Viewing or Dialing a Stored Contact:
Press PHONEBOOK and scroll to the desired entry. Press SELECT to dial.
Phone setup
- Time setup
- Set the date and time through the handset menu.
- Ring volume
- Adjust the ring volume on the handset or base with the vol- or vol+ keys.
- The base
- The base has a paging function to locate a misplaced handset.
- Answering system
- The answering system can record messages. Access it from the handset or base.
- Remote Access
- Access your answering machine from outside by calling your number and entering a two-digit code.
Troubleshooting
No Dial Tone:
Check the connection and charge of the handset.
Caller ID Errors:
Ensure your service includes Caller ID and that it is not blocked.

How do I reset my phone to default settings?
Press _MENU/SELECT_ > Services and Settings > Reset to Default.
How do I store a new contact in the phonebook?
Press _PHONEBOOK_ , select _NEW_ , then enter the name and number.
