Product Usage Instructions

Installing Batteries:

1. Open the battery compartment cover.
2. Insert two AA batteries inside the compartment.
3. Replace the cover securely.

Using the Jar Opener :

1. Place the Jar Opener on top of the lid with the rubber bars angled to match the jar.
2. Press and hold the power button until both the inner and outer arms grasp the lid and jar respectively.
3. Release the power button to allow the unit to open the jar automatically.

Preparing the Jar Before Use:

1. Ensure the jar is on a flat surface and remove any packaging materials around it.
2. Make sure the jar lid is dry before using the Jar Opener.

Cleaning and Maintenance :

1. Clean the unit by wiping it with a damp cloth; do not immerse in water.
2. Store the Jar Opener in a cool, dry place; do not put it in the dishwasher.

Warnings / Cautions :

• Do not use the Jar Opener for plastic jars, irregular shaped jars, steep curved lid jars, or chipped glass jars.

INSTALLING BATTERIES

Open the battery compartment cover, insert two AA batteries inside of the compartment, replace the cover.

Note :
The Jar Opener may run automatically after inserting the batteries until the outer arms of the jar opener move back to their start position.

PREPARING THE JAR BEFORE USE

• Place your Jar on a flat tabletop, remove any film or paper sleeves from  around the Jar and ensure the lid of the jar is dry.

USING THE JAR OPENER

1. Place the Jar Opener on top of the Lid.
   Tips:
   Press and hold the power button for the arms to  open fully. Ensure the rubber bars on the base of  the outer arms are angled to the angle of the jar.

2. Press and hold the power button until  the inner arms grasp the Lid, and outer arms grasp the Jar.

3.  Release the power button.
   The unit will open the Jar, the arms will automatically move backwards to their maximum position after opening the Jar.

Note:

1. The unit may operate automatically when moving the Arms manually. This is normal.
2. The grip rubbers on outer arms are adjustable to fit the Jar.
3. Hold the unit top during operation to avoid it ‘popping up’ after opening the Jar.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

1. Never immerse the unit in water and clean by wiping down with a damp cloth only. Store in a cool dry location.
2. Do not place the Jar Opener in the dishwasher.

1. This machine is suitable for regular glass screw-top Jars with lids of a 1.25” – 4” diameter and intended for household use only.
2. DO NOT use this machine to open the following Jars:
   • plastic Jars
   • irregular shapes Jars
   • steep curved lid Jar
   • chipped glass Jars
3. Do not mix old and new batteries. Do no mix alkaline, standard (Carbon-zinc), or rechargeable (Ni-Cd, Ni-Mh, etc) batteries.
4. Batteries should be recycled or disposed of as per state and local guidelines. Do not incinerate or compost the batteries. Never dispose of batteries in a fire.
