- To reduce the risk of electric shock, ensure that the main power source and circuit breakers are switched off before performing any installation or wiring procedures.
- Ensure fixture is securely mounted and mount will support weight of the fixture. Failure to properly support fixture may result in damage or injury, for which the manufacturer does not assume responsibility.
- Equipment should be mounted in locations and at heights where it will not be subjected to tampering by unauthorized personnel.
- Indoor use only—do not use outdoors.
- Do not mount near gas or electric heaters or any other radiant heat sources.
- Use caution when handling or servicing the battery pack.
- For conduit wiring installation, use flexible conduit only
- The use of accessory equipment not recommended by the manufacturer may cause an unsafe condition.
- Do not use this equipment for anything other than its intended use.
Product Usage Instructions
Rear Mount Installation Instructions
- Turn off the supply power at the breaker box.
- Remove the screw holding the side panel in place and remove the side and front panels.
- Remove appropriate knockouts for wiring and mounting from the rear and/or side panel.
- Using an appropriate strain relief (not included), run the wiring through the case and connect it.
- Securely mount the fixture to the wall/junction box.
- Connect the battery.
- Remove arrow knockouts from the front cover as needed, then slide the front cover into place.
- Reinstall the side cover.
- Apply power and allow the battery pack to charge for at least 24 hours before the initial test.
- After the 24-hour period, press the test button to ensure that the emergency lights are functioning correctly and are aimed correctly.
Side Mount Installation Instructions
- Turn off the supply power at the breaker box.
- Remove the screw to release the side cover.
- Slide the face plate EXIT panel to remove it.
- Run the wiring through the canopy and adapter plate, then attach the canopy to the light.
- Make all wiring connections.
- Install the adapter plate bracket on the junction box.
- Securely attach the light to the junction box.
- Connect the wiring for the battery.
- Reinstall the EXIT panel(s) and knock-out directional arrow covers as needed.
- Reinstall the side cover.
- Turn on the supply power and allow the battery pack to charge for at least 24 hours before the initial test.
- After the 24-hour period, press the test button to ensure that the light is functioning as intended.
Testing
Manual Test button can be held to illuminate lights for manual testing
purposes.

- Remove screw from side panel.
- Slide to remove the blank rear panel.
- Install additional “EXIT” panel.
- Reinstall side panel.
