BBQ COMPACT Smokeless Portable Barbecue

Thank you very much for choosing our portable barbecue. Before using this product, carefully read the instructions for its correct use. The included safety precautions reduce the risk of burns, injury, or even death if strictly followed. Please keep this manual in a safe place for future reference, together with the completed product warranty card, the original product packaging and proof of purchase. If possible, pass these instructions on to the next owner of the product. Observe basic safety precautions and accident prevention regulations at all times when using the appliance. We decline all responsibility derived from the non-compliance of these instructions by customers.

SECURITY INSTRUCTIONS

Before using this product, please read the basic safety precautions carefully.

  • Use the barbecue only in well-ventilated outdoor areas, never in enclosed spaces. If used indoors, toxic gases harmful to health will accumulate, which can lead to carbon monoxide poisoning.
  • Be careful when using the barbecue, as the  material gets very hot. Do not move the barbecue while it is in use and never leave it unattended.
  • Keep children and pets away from the barbecue.
  • Do not use gasoline, alcohol, or other volatile liquids to light charcoal.
  • Only place food to grill when the charcoal is covered with a layer of ash.
  • Do not use lighter fluid or charcoal soaked in lighter fluid on hot charcoal.
  • Do not bring flammable gases or liquids, such as gasoline or alcohol, or any other flammable material close to the barbecue.
  • Use the barbecue only if all the parts are correctly placed.
  • The barbecue must be assembled according to the instructions. Incorrect  assembly can cause bodily injury or property damage.
  • Only use the barbecue on a surface that is easily accessible, stable, flat and non-flammable, in an environment that is as protected as possible from the wind.
  • Do not use the barbecue in strong wind.
  • Avoid having objects around the barbecue such as electrical cables, garden tools, etc.
  • Do not wear loose-fitting sleeves when lighting or using the grill.
  • Use suitable long-handled, heat-resistant barbecue utensils.
  • Deposit the coal only in the  basket provided for this purpose.
  • Never dispose of hot charcoal where it presents a fire hazard or where someone could step on it. Remove and dispose of ashes only when the charcoal is completely consumed and extinguished and the barbecue has cooled down.
  • Store the barbecue only when the charcoal and ashes are completely out and cool.
  • Never use water to fight flames or to extinguish charcoal.
  • Do not obstruct the ventilation openings in the body of the barbecue so as not to impede the entry of air.

BEFORE USING

  • Please check the device and package content before use.
  • Open the box carefully. To avoid damaging the product, do not use any pointed or sharp objects.
  • Make sure the box contents are complete using this product manual.
  • Check that the device or its parts are not damaged. If this is the case, do not use the appliance and contact the after-sales service.

DEVICE USAGE

  1. Insert 4 AA batteries in the space provided for this located under the body of the barbecue.
  2. You can pour some water into the inner container so that the barbecue produces less smoke. In this way, removing the remaining fat from the product will be easier.
  3. Fill the basket with charcoal according to the type and amount of food you are going to use.
  4. Put some fuel paste or fire starter gel around the two openings of the starter plate
  5. Turn on the paste or gel.
  6. Place the charcoal basket on the firing plate.
  7. Turn on the fan and set it to full power.
  8. Place the cooking grate over the body.

ADDITIONAL INSTRUCTIONS

  • It is recommended to heat the barbecue before first use and leave the charcoal to act for 30 minutes to eliminate any possible production residues.
  • Remove ash and carbon residues before each use to obtain optimal air circulation and therefore better cooking performance.
  • Do not put too much fuel paste on the ignition plate to avoid damage to the fan box or other parts of the barbecue.
  • Use only charcoal or charcoal briquettes.
  • Wait until the charcoal is covered with a thin layer of ash before placing food on the grill.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

  • Allow grill to cool completely before cleaning to remove ash and carbon residue.
  • Clean the rack with warm, soapy water, then rinse and dry thoroughly with a soft cloth to prevent rust.
  • Do not use wire brushes, abrasive cleaners, or chemicals to clean the grill surface to avoid damaging it.
  • If possible, store the barbecue in a dry place.
  • If the barbecue is exposed to the weather for a long time, use a suitable cover.

The crossed bin symbol shown on the packaging indicates that the product at the end of its useful life will be collected as separate waste. Therefore, any product that has  reached the end of its useful life should be delivered to waste disposal centers specialized in the separate collection of waste electrical and electronic equipment, or returned to the  retailer when purchasing similar new equipment, in one for a base.
