If any part is missing or damaged, do not use the device but contact the seller. Keep the packaging or dispose of it in accordance with local regulations
Caution! For the safety of children, please do not leave parts of the packaging lying around (plastic bags, cardboard boxes, polystyrene foam, etc.). Danger of suffocation!
OPERATION
Before the first use
Carefully unpack the fryer and remove all the shipping materials.
Pull the food bowl or drawer out of the fryer using the handle. Remove the
cooking grate.
Wash the drawer and grate in warm water with dishwashing liquid using a clean soft sponge or cloth. Rinse and dry thoroughly before use.
Wipe the fryer body from the outside and inside with a damp cloth.
CAUTION! Before you place the fryer on a table or countertop, make sure
that its surface is resistant to heat. Do not place the fryer on a fragile
surface that could be damaged or melted by heat. If you have doubts about the
surface, take appropriate precautions and cover the surface with a heat-
resistant pad.
Do not place the fryer close to a wall or any other device. Leave at least 10
cm of space around and above the fryer. Do not cover the vent located on the
back.
This device should be the only electrical load connected to the mains circuit.
Removing and inserting the bowl and grate:
-
To remove the bowl from the fryer, hold the body of the device with one hand, and with the other grab the handle of the food drawer and pull it strongly.
-
Insert the grate into the bowl as marked with the arrow inside the bowl and on the grate:
The arrows should be one above the other.
Caution! Be careful when inserting the grate so as not to scratch the surface of the bowl. It is best to insert the grate at a slant starting from the side of the handle. The grate is shaped to fit the bowl, so it should be very easy to slide it to the bottom. -
Place the bowl in the body of the device and press.
Important cooking / frying / baking tips
-
Do not pour oil or any other fat or water into the bowl.
-
For optimal cooking performance, always preheat the fryer. If you do not want to preheat, add a few minutes to the cooking time to warm up the device.
-
Some foods require stirring, so you can remove the bowl during the cycle and shake the content, or use a wooden spatula to mix it. Then you need to put the bowl back into the fryer. The countdown time will be stopped when the bowl is removed. The countdown will resume when the bowl is placed in the body.
-
To safely remove large or fragile foods from the hot food drawer use heat resistant wooden or silicone pliers.
-
Caution! Avoid using metal tools so as not to scratch the bowl.
-
Small amounts are fried more evenly than large portions.
-
Do not cook or fry very fatty foods in the fryer.
-
When preparing fatty ingredients, white smoke may come out of the device.
However, this does not affect the operation of the device or the final result. White smoke can also appear if the fryer has not been properly cleaned or if oil remains on the grate. -
Snacks that can be fried in an oven can also be prepared in the fryer.
-
You can also use the fryer to heat your food. Set the fryer to 10 minutes and 150°C.
-
Ingredients that can be cooked at the same temperature may be placed together in the bowl and heated or cooked together.
-
Frozen products do not need to be thawed beforehand but it is recommended to thaw certain products to shorten the cooking time.
-
Ready-made dough requires a shorter baking time than homemade dough.
-
Use baking casts when preparing cakes, quiches, crispy foods or products with liquid stuffing.
-
Small silicone baking casts are recommended for the best results.
-
Casts should not be filled above 2/3 of their height.
-
You may lay baking paper, aluminum foil or baking casts inside the bowl, on the grate, but special care should be taken. Do not cover the entire lower part of the grate. Air should circulate freely inside the bowl. In addition, there should be enough products on the paper or aluminum sheet to ensure that the sheet stays in place. Otherwise, the strong air flow will suck the sheet in, close to the heating elements, which may cause a fire.
-
For homemade fries (not pre-processed), place fresh raw fries in water 30 minutes before frying to wash off the starch from the surface. Then dry them thoroughly. For a crunchier effect, you may add a tablespoon of olive, sunflower, rapeseed or other oil. Mix this oil well with the raw fries before placing them on the grate. Always make sure that there is no excess oil on the grate or in the bowl. Do not use too much oil. If you do, the fries will be greasy and less crispy. It is best to fry max. 500 g of fries at a time for a crunchy effect. Thin fries will be crunchier than thick fries
Use
