Product Information

The product is a lighting fixture with model number JYL7597A. The dimensions of the product are 29 inches in diameter and a height range between 27.5 inches to 86.5 inches. The product comes with a mounting bracket, closable link, machine screw, lock washer, threaded rod, ground screw, wire connector, canopy, hang loop, chain, fixture loop, and six bulbs. The product is designed to provide lighting to a room or space.

Product Usage Instructions

Warning: We recommend installation of this lighting fixture be done by a licensed electrician. Switch off the main electrical supply from the main fuse box/circuit breaker before installation. Inspect item carefully before attempting to install. If there is any damage or obvious defect, do not install it. The item may not be returned once it has been installed.

• Please make sure that you have all parts indicated before you begin assembly of this item.
• This item should be assembled on a soft surface to prevent scratching the finish during assembly.
• To reduce the risk of fire, electrical shock or injury to persons or property, please follow the guideline below for safe use and installation.
• The external flexible cable or cord of this lamp cannot be replaced. If the cord is damaged, the lamp shall be destroyed.

Preparation:

Before beginning assembly of the product, make sure all parts are present. Compare parts with the package contents list and hardware contents list. If any part is missing or damaged, do not attempt to assemble the product. Estimated Assembly Time: 20 minutes.

1. Spread fixture arms of the body (O) to an equal distance apart.
2. Thread the column (M) onto the body (O).
3. Thread the fixture loop(L) onto the nipple of the body (O).
4. Connect chain(K) by fixture loop(L) and hang loop(H) with the closable link(I).
5. Secure mounting bracket (A) to outlet box with machine screw (B), Insert lock washer (C), and thread the short threaded rod(D) onto the mounting bar (A), then secure with the nut of the short threaded rod(D).
6. Make wire connections, with wire connectors(F), following the reference chart listed below.
7. Orient the ceiling canopy(G) so that the short threaded rod(D) into the holes in the canopy, and thread the hang loop(H) onto the short threaded rod(D), then secure it with the canopy nut(J).

Wire Connection Reference Chart:

Clear, Brown, Gold or Black without Tracer (colored
stripes)| Wire to Connect| Insulated Wire (not green) with copper metal conductor
Clear, Brown, Gold or Black with Tracer (colored stripes)| Wire to Connect| Insulated Wire (not green) with Silver metal conductor.

Grounding Instructions:

• For installation in the United States: Wrap ground wire from the outlet box around green ground screw(E) on the mounting bracket, no less than 2 from wire end. Tighten the ground screw. If the fixture is supplied with a ground wire, connect to the outlet ground wire with a wire connector.
• For installation in Canada: If the fixture is supplied with ground wire, wrap the ground wire around the green grounding screw on the mounting bracket. Tighten the ground screw.

• WE RECOMMEND INSTALLATION OF THIS LIGHTING FIXTURE BE DONE BY A LICENSED ELECTRICIAN.
• WARNING *** SWITCH OFF THE MAIN ELECTRICAL SUPPLY FROM THE MAIN FUSE BOX/CIRCUIT BREAKER BEFORE INSTALLATION.
• INSPECT ITEM CAREFULLY BEFORE ATTEMPTING TO INSTALL. IF THERE IS ANY DAMAGE OR OBVIOUS DEFECT, DO NOT INSTALL. ITEM MAY NOT BE RETURNED ONCE IT HAS BEEN INSTALLED.

CARE AND MAINTENANCE

• To clean the outside of the fixture, use a dry or slightly dampened clean cloth (use clean water, never a solvent) to wipe the surface of the fixture.
• To clean the inside of the fixture, first disconnect the power to the fixture by turning off the circuit breaker or by removing the fuse at the fuse box. Next, use a dry or slightly dampened clean cloth (use clean water, never a solvent) to wipe the interior surface of the fixture.
• Do not use any cleaners with chemicals, solvents or harsh abrasives. Use only dry soft cloth to dust or wipe carefully

   Note : When parallel wire ( SPT I & SPT II ) is used. The neutral wire is square shaped and ridged and the hot wire will be round in shape and smooth. ( See Illustration on left. )

7. For installation in the United States: Wrap ground wire from the outlet box around green ground screw(E) on the mounting bracket, no less than 2″ from wire end. Tighten the ground screw. If the fixture is supplied with a ground wire, connect to the outlet ground wire with a wire connector.

8. For installation in Canada: If the fixture is supplied with ground wire, wrap ground wire around the green grounding screw on the mounting bracket. Tighten the ground screw.

9. Orient the ceiling canopy(G) so that the short threaded rod(D) is into the holes in the canopy, and thread the hanging loop(H) onto the short threaded rod(D), then secure it with the canopy nut(J).

10. Install bulbs(N). Be sure to use light bulb(s) with wattage no greater than specified on this fixture. Always make sure that electrical current is turned off before changing bulbs.
