Product Usage Instructions
Before installing the Rhett Flush Mount, ensure that you have a NEC compliant junction box in place. Follow the steps below to install the fixture:
- Remove the mounting plate (5) from the fixture (2) by unscrewing the collar nut (7).
- Attach the mounting plate to the junction box using the provided screws and nuts.
- Connect the ground wire (GND) to the grounding screw on the junction box.
- Attach the fixture to the mounting plate using the mounting stud and cap nut (6).
- Position the diffuser (7) over the fixture and align it with the mounting studs.
- Screw in the collar nut until secure.
Once the fixture is securely in place, turn on the power and test to ensure that it is functioning properly. If you encounter any issues during installation or usage, refer to the product manual or contact Generation Lighting for assistance.

Install the Fixture
- Secure the mounting plate to the junction box.
- Connect the fixture to a suitable ground in accordance with local electrical codes.
- Connect the white fixture wire (square and/or rigid) to the neutral power line wire with a wire nut.
- Connect the black fixture wire (round and/or smooth) to the hot power line wire with a wire nut.
- If using dimming, connect the purple and gray wires to a compatible dimmer. If not using dimming, make sure to cap the purple and gray wires.
- Neatly place all the wires into the junction box, place the fixture onto the mounting studs, and secure it in place by screwing the cap nuts onto the studs.
- Align the diffuser to the fixture, then screw it in until secure.
