  5. THIS PAD IS NOTTO BE USED BY OR ON AN INVALID, SLEEPING OR UNCONSCIOUS PERSON, OR A PERSON WITH POOR BLOOD CIRCULATION UNLESS CAREFULLY ATTENDED.
  6. DO NOT USE A HEATING PAD ON AREAS OF SENSITIVE SKIN.
  7. NEVER USE PAD WITHOUTTHE REMOVABLE COVER IN PLACE.
  8. DO NOT USE IN AN OXYGEN ENRICHED ENVIRONMENT OR NEAR EQUIPMENT WHICH STORES/EMITS OXYGEN.
  9. PLACE PAD ON TOP OF AND NOT UNDER THE PART OF THE BODY NEEDING HEAT.
  10. DO NOT SIT ON, OR AGAINST PAD; DO NOT CRUSH PAD. AVOID SHARP FOLDS.
  11. DO NOT PUTTHIS PAD IN A MICROWAVE.
  12. NEVER PULL THIS PAD BY THE SUPPLY CORD. DO NOT USE CORD AS A HANDLE.
  13. UNPLUG WHEN NOT IN USE.
  14. CAREFULLY EXAMINE INNER VINYL COVER BEFORE EACH USE. DISCARD THE PAD IF VINYL COVERING SHOWS ANY SIGNS OF DETERIORATION (SUCH AS BLISTERING OR CRACKING).
  15. LOOP CORD LOOSELY WHEN STORING AS TIGHT WRAPPING MAY DAMAGE CORD AND INTERNAL PARTS.
  16. THIS UNIT SHOULD NOT BE USED BY CHILDREN WITHOUT ADULT SUPERVISION.
  17. DO NOT TAMPER WITH THIS PAD IN ANY WAY.
  18. NEVER USE PINS OR OTHER METALLIC MEANS TO FASTEN THIS PAD IN PLACE.
  19. THERE ARE NO USER-SERVICEABLE PARTS. IF FOR ANY REASON THIS PAD DOES NOT FUNCTION SATISFACTORILY, SEE WARRANTY FOR CONSUMER SERVICE INFORMATION.
  20. DO NOT USE THIS PAD WITH LINIMENT, SALVE OR OINTMENT PREPARATIONS, ESPECIALLY ONES THAT CONTAIN HEAT-PRODUCTION INGREDI-ENTS AS SKIN BURNS MAY RESULT.
  21. DO NOT BEND OR PINCH CORD; DO NOT USE IF CORD IS DAMAGED.
  22. NEVER LEAVE THE HEATING PAD UNATTENDED, ESPECIALLY IF CHILDREN ARE PRESENT.
  23. USE THIS PAD ONLY ON A 120 VOLT AC CIRCUIT.

POLARIZED PLUG

This product comes equipped with a polarized electrical plug (one blade is wider than the other) and will only Or into the outlet one way. This is meant to reduce the risk of an electrical shock. If the plug does not Or into the outlet, reverse the plug. If it still does not fit, consult a qualified electrician. DO NOT ATTEMPT TO MODIFY THIS PLUG OR CIRCUMVENT THIS SAFETY FEATURE.

FCC STATEMENT AND EMC COMPATIBILITY

This equipment has been tested and found to comply with the limits for a Class B digital device, pursuant to part 15 of the FCC Rules. INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE

Ensure the PVC heating pad is fully inserted in the fabric cover and lays completely flat. The electrical cord and controller should always remain outside of the cover.

WARNING: ALWAYS USE THIS FABRIC COVER WHILE OPERATING THE HEATING PAD OR SERIOUS BURNS/INJURIES MAY OCCUR.

FOR DRY HEAT

Insert the plug into an appropriate 120 volt AC electrical outlet, noting the plug is polarized and will only Or one way.
Place the heating pad on the desired treatment area.

WARNING: THE PAD SHOULD ALWAYS BE PLACE ON TOP OF THE TREATMENT AREA. DO NOT PLACE PAD UNDERNEATH TREATMENT AREA AS TEMPERATURES CAN RISE TO UNINTENDED/UNCOMFORTABLE LEVELS.

Using the controller, press the button to reach the desired heat setting. To turn the heating pad oft press the button until the indicator light turns off.
The heating pad will reach the desired temperature in approximately 10~15 minutes.

NOTE: This heating pad will automatically turn OFF after 2 hours of use. Unplug heating pad when not in use.

DRY HEAT VERSUS MOIST HEAT

The solution you choose is mostly personal preference.
DRY Heat – a quick and convenient way to apply heat therapy to an area of the body. This is typically the fastest solution for most users who want to maintain a certain heat level.
MOIST Heat – provides penetrating heat therapy to sore muscles.

FOR MOIST HEAT OPTION

Remove the moist heat insert
Lightly dampen the foam insert with water. (NOTE: water should NOT be dripping from insert).

WARNING: DO NOT THOROUGHLY SOAK FOAM INSERT. DO NOT USE GELS, SOLVENTS OR LIQUIDS OTHER THAN WATER ON THE FOAM INSERT. NEVER IMMERSE PVC PAD IN WATER. FAILURE TO COMPLY MAY RESULT IN PERSON INJURY.

Carefully place foam insert back into the fabric cover ensuring it is fully inserted and lays completely flat.
With dry hands, plug into an appropriate 120 volt AC electrical outlet, noting the plug is polarized and will only fit one way.
Place the heating pad on the desired treatment area.

WARNING: THE PAD SHOULD ALWAYS BE PLACE ON TOP OF THE TREATMENT AREA. DO NOT PLACE PAD UNDERNEATH TREATMENT AREA AS TEMPERATURES CAN RISE TO UNINTENDED/UNCOMFORTABLE LEVELS.

NOTE: This heating pad will automatically turn OFF after 2 hours of use. Unplug heating pad when not in use.

CARE AND MAINTENANCE

WARNING: ALWAYS DISCONNECT THE HEATING PAD FROM THE ELECTRICAL OUTLET BEFORE CLEANING.

Remove the fabric cover and foam insert from the PVC pad.

Cleaning Instructions:
PVC PAD – Wipe the PVC pad with damp cloth as needed. DO NOT IMMERSE IN WATER. DO NOT GET THE PLUG OR CORD WET. Hang dry only.

FABRIC COVER – Machine wash (or hand wash) the fabric cover in cool water using a mild detergent on the gentle/delicate cycle. Lay flat or hang dry. DO NOT MACHINE DRY.

FOAM INSERT – Hand wash the foam insert using a mild detergent and cool water only. Lay flat or hang dry. DO NOT MACHINE DRY.

NOTE: DO NOT REASSEMBLE THE HEATING PAD COMPONENTS UNTIL EVERYTHING IS COMPLETELY DRY. GENLTY FOLD THE PAD FOR STORAGE TO AVOID POTENTIAL CRACKS IN THE PVC PAD.

LIMITED 1-YEAR WARRANTY

This warranty covers only normal use, and does not apply for use i any clinical or commercial applications. The warranty is voided if the product is misused or abused in any manner.

If the unit fails to operate during the first year from the time originally purchased, please call our Customer Care Help Line at 800-622-4714 and we will try to resolve the issue as soon as possible. If the warrantor determines the unit failed to operate due to a manufacturing defect, the unit will be replaced at the option of the warrantor. The purchaser will be responsible for the prepaid postage along with $9.99 to cover return shipping and insurance. The purchaser must return the original unit prior to a replacement product being provided. Replacement of the product is the only remedy covered by the Limited 1-Year Warranty.

This warranty gives you specific legal rights, which vary from state to state. To be eligible for the warranty, please register your product online within 10 days of purchase date at www.LiveHealthSmart.com.

We make no other express or implied warranties, arising by operation of law or otherwise, or any warranty of merchantability or fitness for a particular use or purpose whether or not the use or purpose has been disclosed to the warrantor in specifications, drawings or otherwise, and whether or not the warrantor’s products are specifically designed and/or manufactured by the warrantor for the buyer’s use or purposes, except for the limited warranty stated above. The warrantor will not be responsible for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages or other loss, including, but not limited to, damage to or loss of other property or equipment and personal injuries, whether to purchaser or others. The warrantor shall in no event be liable to the purchaser for any amount in excess of the cost to replace the product.
