**General Product Information
**
The Kiel Wall / Bath fixtures are designed to be installed using NEC-compliant junction boxes. These products are safety listed for damp locations and can be mounted horizontally or vertically. Please note that this instruction manual shows a typical installation.
CAUTION – RISK OF FIRE:
This product must be installed by a person familiar with the construction and
operation of the product and the hazards involved, in accordance with the
applicable installation code.

Product Usage Instructions
- Locate an NEC-compliant junction box and install the mounting plate provided with the fixture onto the box using the fixture screws.
- Attach the end plate to the fixture using the end plate screw.
- Attach the channel shade to the fixture using the channel shade screw.
- Connect the fixture wires to the wires in the junction box according to the wiring diagram provided in the instruction manual.
- Secure the fixture onto the mounting plate using the fixture screw.
- If mounting vertically, ensure that the channel shade is facing upwards. If mounting horizontally, ensure that the channel shade is facing downwards.
- Turn on the power to the fixture and test it to ensure it is working properly.

- Use minimum 90°c supply conductors.

Install the Fixture
- Secure the mounting plate to the junction.
- Slide the a shade into channel on both ends of the fixture.
- Install an end plate onto the end of the fixture and secure it place with the end plate screw. Repeat for the other side.
- Connect the fixture to a suitable ground in accordance to local electrical codes.
- Connect the white fixture wire (square and/or rigid) to the neutral power line wire with a wire nut.
- Connect the black fixture wire (round and/or smooth) to the hot power line wire with a wire nut.
- Neatly place all the wires into the junction box, place the fixture base onto the mounting plate, and secure it in place with the fixture screws.
