MASTER LONG REACH BALANCER & PULLEY INSTALLER
INSTRUCTIONS

MBH500 Master Long Reach Balancer and Pulley

Install crank pulley or underdrive pulley on many late model Ford, GM, Dodge and Chrysler vehicles with V8 and V6 engines, with or without recessed threads.
‘Traditional smaller installer kits will not work in many of these applications.
Kit includes:

• M16x2.0
• GM, M14x1.5
• Dodge, Chrysler, Jeep, M12x1.75
• Dodge, Chrysler, Jeep, M12x1.5
• Ford

SEE DIAGRAM FOR CORRECT USE

1. Pick appropriate shaft for application
2. Coat crankshaft snout and damper inside diameter with anti-seize compound to prevent galling during removal /installation.
3. Thread Nut/ Bearing Assembly on shaft making sure bearing is facing crankshaft
4. Thread shaft and tighten to crankshaft snout.
5. Using an open box wrench and a ratcheting drive, turn nut clockwise unnail damper is fully seated against timing gear or spacer.

HARMONIC BALANCER INSTALLER INSTRUCTIONS

Warning: Wear Safety Goggles

1. Pick the proper adapter and thread the jam-nut on the adapter.
2. Thread adapter and jam-nut into the center screw and snug-up the jam-nut onto the center-screw.
3. Take the proper combination of the adapter and center-screw and thread into the crankshaft
4. Then assemble the balancer or pulley on the center-screw.
5. The thrust bearing and nut are then placed on the center-screw.
6. Turn the nut clockwise until the balancer is in the correct position.
