VISUAL COMFORT SK5364 Limoges Grande Pendant
Product Information
The Limoges Grande Pendant is a light fixture designed to be installed in indoor spaces. The item number for this product is SK 5364. The product comes with all the necessary parts for installation, including a collar loop, a canopy, and a chain. However, the bulb is not included in the package. The product should be installed in accordance with all applicable, local installation codes, and by a person familiar with the construction and operation of it, as well as the hazards involved. It is imperative that the fixture is grounded.
Product Usage Instructions
- Carefully remove all parts from the box. Place on a clean, soft surface.
- Determine desired overall length and amount of chain (G) needed.
- Hang the collar loop (D) from the junction box using the chain (G). Adjust the length of the chain to the desired height.
- Remove the screws holding the canopy (E) in place and lower it down to expose the electrical wires.
- Strip about 1/2 inch of insulation from each wire in the junction box.
- Connect the fixture ground wire (bare copper) to the supply ground wire (usually green or bare copper) using wire nut (A).
- Connect the fixture neutral wire (ribbed) to the supply neutral wire (usually white) using wire nut (A).
- Connect the fixture hot wire (smooth with markings) to the supply hot wire (usually black) using wire nut (A). Do not reverse the hot and neutral connections.
- Make sure all wire connections are tight, then carefully tuck into the junction box.
- Install the canopy (E) to collar loop (D) by securing it with collar ring (F).
- Install a light bulb into the socket.
Care Instructions: Clean only with a soft dry cloth or feather duster. Do not use abrasive or chemical agents.
NOTICE
This light fixture should be installed in accordance with all applicable, local installation codes, and by a person familiar with the construction and operation of it, as well as the hazards involved. Inspect item and contents carefully. If any damage or defect is found, do not install. Retain all packaging material until installation is complete and approved.

ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS

Carefully remove all parts from the box. Place on a clean, soft surface.

Determine desired overall length, and amount of chain (G) needed. Shorten the chain using needle-nose pliers (see diagram 1). (Keep extra chain)

Remove mounting plate (B) from collar loop (D).

Thread fixture wire and ground wire through the chain (G), collar ring (F), and canopy (E).
NOTE: When you reach the collar loop (D), ensure there is no tension on the wires. Cut excess wires, being sure to leave about 12” to reach the junction box. -
Separate two sides of molded wire, and strip insulation on each 5/8″.

Twist all fixture wires together. Slip through the center hole of the collar loop (D).
NOTE: Untwist wires and separate them to prepare for connection. -
Attach mounting plate (B) to collar loop (D) and secure using pliers to tighten the locknut.

Install the fixture by securing the mounting plate (B) to the junction box using mounting screws (C).

Wrap fixture ground wire (bare copper) around the green grounding screw (see diagram 2). Tighten. Continue fixture ground wire and connect to supply ground wire (usually green or bare copper) using wire nut (A).
NOTE: It is imperative that the fixture is grounded. -
Connect fixture neutral wire (ribbed) to the supply neutral wire (usually white) using wire nut (A).

Connect the fixture hot wire (smooth with markings) to the supply hot wire (usually black) using wire nut (A).
CAUTION: Do not reverse the hot and neutral connections. -
Make sure all wire connections are tight, then carefully tuck them into the junction box.

Install canopy (E) to collar loop (D) by securing with collar ring (F).

Install a light bulb into the socket.
