WOLFCRAFT 4385.000 Ball Rasp for Angle Grinders
Product Information
The product is a set of rasps and carving discs that can be used with an angle grinder. The product comes with a separate Wolfcraft dust extraction hood (article no. 4399.000) that needs to be mounted on the angle grinder as per the included installation instructions. The product has a maximum speed of 12,500 rpm and is compatible with angle grinders with article numbers 4385.000, 4386.000, and 4387.000.
Product Usage Instructions
- Ensure that the tool is not damaged or has visible cracks before use.
- Mount the separate wolfcraft dust extraction hood (article no. 4399.000) on the angle grinder as described in the included installation instructions.
- Press the lock button of the angle grinder and screw the tool onto the thread clockwise. Place an AF 19 spanner on the clamping surfaces of the tool (which have to be cleaned in advance) and rotate clockwise to tighten. Do not use spanner extensions or hammer strikes for tightening. Subsequently, check for a tight fit.
- Plug in the mains plug again or put in the battery and perform a test run to check whether the tool is running smoothly without any noticeable imbalance. If in doubt, re-attach or replace the tool.

CAUTION:
Before using the tools, always read the safety information and instructions in
the manual of your angle grinder and the wolfcraft dust extraction hood
(available in set 4400.000 or individually as article no. 4399.000)! The tools
may only be used by trained and experienced persons who are skilled in the use
of tools.
Intended purpose
The rasps and carving discs may only be used for cutting, milling, rasping or
shaping wood. The wood may not contain any stone or metal objects, such as
nails. 2
The rasps and carving discs may only be used on compatible angle grinders with
Ø 115 or 125 mm,
in combination with the wolfcraft dust extraction hood
(4399.000), and only at speeds up to the permissible limit (12,500 RPM).
Using tools safely
- Always install the wolfcraft dust extraction hood on the angle grinder and use it in combination with a suitable vacuum cleaner. 3
- The maximum speed specified on the tool must not be exceeded. The speed range (max. 12,500 RPM) must be observed. 4
- Do not use tools with visible cracks.
- Tools and tool bodies have to be tightened properly, so that they do not loosen during operation.
- Secure the workpiece against slipping. 5
- Always make sure that your footing is secure, maintain your balance, and never work on a ladder or above your head. 6
- Ensure proper ventilation in the work area. Naked flames, fire, open ignition sources and smoking are prohibited in the vicinity of the work area.
- Always maintain sufficient distance between the angle grinder and the body.
- The tool must be rotating before the angle grinder makes contact with the workpiece and must be lifted off the workpiece before the angle grinder is switched off.
- Do not reach into rotating tools and do not touch the tools shortly after use – tools get very hot during use.
- Never put down the angle grinder before the mounted tool has come to a complete standstill.
- Do not apply strong pressure to the workpiece.
- Always use the separate handle of the angle grinder. 7
- When using the tools, always make sure that the feed direction at the workpiece is opposite to the direction of rotation of the tool. 8
- The tools must be cleaned regularly. The clamping surfaces must be cleaned to remove dirt, grease, oil and water.
- Maintenance or modification of the tools (e.g. resharpening or rebalancing) is not permitted.
- Always wear personal protective equipment
- safety goggles, dust mask (at least filter class FFP2), hearing protection and protective gloves. 9
- Wear suitable clothing – never loose clothing or jewelry. Keep long hair tied and keep clothing away from moving parts. 10
Mounting tools

Unplug the angle grinder from the mains. Remove the battery from battery-operated angle grinders. 11

Mount the separate Wolfcraft dust extraction hood (article no. 4399.000) on the angle grinder as described in the included installation instructions.

Check the tool for damage and visible cracks – never use damaged tools.
