SAFETY
GENERAL SAFETY INFORMATION
Disregarding the safety information and instructions leads to risk of injury! Failure to comply with safety information and instructions may lead to serious in- juries.
a) By following the safety information and instructions provided in these
operating instructions, personal injury and property damage may be prevented
when working at or with the product.
b) Before starting any work, read the operating instructions, in particular
the Safety chapter and the respective safety instructions. It is important to
understand the information that has been read .
Always obey the following safety instructions:
-
Never use the transport system improperly or for an unintended purpose. Any use other than the intended use may lead to hazardous situations.
-
Observe the following maximum load-bearing capacities (only applies on a level surface):
– During use on steps, ramps and obstacles, a payload of 100 kg must not be exceeded. The max. rise of the stairs is 20 cm and the minimum run is 23 cm. Reduce the load enough that safe handling is always guaranteed, including at critical points. Do not underestimate the dynamic effect of the load when climbing stairs.
– During use as a hand truck, the cargo must not exceed a height of 100 cm and a depth of 25 cm. The centre of gravity of the load must not be higher than 40 cm above the centre of the nose plate. The maximum payload of 150 kg must not be exceeded.
– When used as a wheelbarrow, the maximum payload of 200 kg must not be exceeded. Exceeding the maximum load-bearing capacities may damage the product. -
Keep in mind that there is risk of the transport system tilting over when it is used as a hand truck without load or with only a light load.
-
An even weight distribution on the frame construction must be ensured for heavier loads. A highly concentrated load may lead to damage to the product.
-
Wear sturdy footwear when using the transport system to ensure a secure footing at all times. Owing to the narrow wheelbase, particular caution must be exercised when cornering.
-
Before each use, make sure that all locking devices are fully engaged. After the handles are folded out, the sliding sleeves must be located in the upper position again so that the handles can no longer be folded in. The prevents the risk of the handles inadvertently folding in.
-
When loading the transport system, make sure that the load can always be safely handled on any surface. When the load overhangs the transport system, the centre of gravity may shift outward, which may cause damage to the load or risk of injury from the transport system tipping over.
-
Always secure the load with suitable lashing straps. The centre of gravity of the load may shift if the load can slip or topple. This may result in the transport system tipping over.
-
If you use lashing straps to secure the load, do not exceed their maximum load as specified by the manufacturer. To prevent injuries, hold the hooks tightly during lashing and fasten them so that the lashing straps cannot inadvertently come loose. Do not fasten the hooks to the nose plate. Overloading or incorrectly fastening the lashing straps may lead to injuries from a lashing strap whipping back.
-
Make sure that people or animals do not stand or climb on the transport system. There is a risk of injury from the transport system tipping over.
-
Only use the transport system on sufficiently well-surfaced and secured pathways where there is no risk of tipping over or falling. Unsurfaced or uneven pathways may lead to the transport system sinking or tipping over and may damage the load as well as injure other people.
-
Use the transport system at walking speed only. In particular when moving over steps and small obstacles, proceed extremely slowly and avoid any jerky impacts. Excessive speed or jerky impacts may result in the loss of control.
-
Ensure that there is no one standing below the transport system when going up or down steps, ramps or sloping ground. A possible loss of control over the transport system may result in collision and injuries.
-
The transport system is not suitable for use under extreme temperatures (air temperature below -10°C, solar radiation above +50°C). Use the transport system only on a clean surface that is free of acid and grease.
-
Never use the transport system to transport people or animals. Transporting people may results in hazardous situations or a risk of injury from the transport system tipping over.
-
Never use the transport system as a trailer on bicycles or motorised vehicles.
-
Do not extend the nose plate and do not use it as a lever. Any technical modifications to the product are prohibited.
-
Examine the transport system regularly to make sure it is in perfect condition. Stop using the transport system in case of a defect.
-
Only use genuine wolfcraft spare parts.
-
Before using the transport system, examine it to make sure it is in proper condition and check the inflation pressure. The tyres should be inflated to a pressure of 2 bar / 29 psi. If the pressure is lower, fill the tyres with more air. Insufficient inflation pressure in the tyres may result in loss of control.
-
Inflate the wheels by hand. Specifically, do not use compressors. A compressor set to more than 2 bar / 29 psi can cause the tyres to burst and thus lead to injuries or property damage.
-
If not using the transport system, make sure to protect it against humidity and wetness during storage. Inappropriate storage conditions may result in damage through rusting.
-
The transport system is not intended for commercial use.
INTENDED USE
The transport system can be used for the following purposes:
- As a hand truck, suitable for tall objects with a maximum weight of 150 kg.
- As a push cart, suitable for long and heavy loads with a maximum weight of 200 kg.
- For going up and down steps and ramps with a maximum rise of 20 cm and a minimum run of 23 cm, with a load not exceeding the permissible payload of 100 kg.
The manufacturer does not accept any liability for property damage or personal injury resulting from failure to observe the operating instructions.
PRODUCT OVERVIEW
PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
The TS 2500 Transport System offers a flexible 2-in-1 function for fast conversion to a hand truck and push cart. The hand truck function is designed for transporting tall objects with a maximum weight of 150 kg. The curved cross bar and back panel enable reliable transporting of round objects. The folding mechanism of the handle allows fast conversion for use as a wheelbarrow. This function offers a low loading height as well as a maximum payload of 200 kg and is ideal for transporting long objects with the nose plate folded up. The large, air-filled wheels as well as the flexible tilt angle of the handle make it easy and comfortable to go up and down steps. The transport system can be folded for space-saving storage.

TECHNICAL DATA
ASSEMBLY
ASSEMBLY TOOL
The following assembly tools are required:
FITTING THE HANDLE
Unfold the transport system and fit the handles as shown in Fig. 2.
OPERATION
Risk of injury if product is damaged or not properly maintained! Examine the transport system to make sure it is in proper condition and check the tyre pressure. Do not use the transport system if it is not in perfect condition.
Risk of injury when handle is not locked in place
If the handle is not unfolded all the way to the locking point, there is risk
of uncontrolled movement of the load and loss of control during use.
Before each use, make sure that all locking devices are fully engaged.
When unfolding the handles, also ensure that they firmly lock into position.
USE AS A HAND TRUCK
Unfold the transport system as shown in Fig. 3. Make sure that all locking
devices engage securely.
USE ON STEPS AND STAIRS
Risk of injury from uncontrolled movement of the load
When using the transport system on steps and ramps, reduce the load enough to
ensure safe handling. Note the maximum payload specified in the technical data
for using the transport system on stairs.
Move over steps and small obstacles extremely slowly and avoid any jerky
impacts.
Secure the load, e.g. with a lashing strap.
The tilt angle of the handle can be adapted for a comfortable holding position for going up and down steps.
Flip over the handle as shown in Fig. 4. Make sure that all locking devices engage securely.
USE AS A WHEELBARROW
To use the transport system as a wheelbarrow, convert it as shown in Fig. 5.
Make sure that all locking devices engage securely.
MAINTENANCE AND CLEANING
Risk of injury from tyres bursting during inflation!
Inflate the wheels by hand. Specifically, do not use compressors. A compressor set to more than 2 bar / 29 psi can cause the tyres to burst and thus lead to injuries or property damage.
- Clean the transport system using a damp cloth.
- Do not use aggressive and/or scouring cleaning agents or solvents.
- Check the inflation pressure regularly. The tyres have to be inflated to a pressure of 2 bar / 29 psi. If the pressure is lower, fill the tyres with more air.
