Product Information

The W A- 3 0 0 Pure Water Tester is a device designed to check the purity of water and determine the condition of the water filter easily and rapidly. It is used to measure the conductivity value ranging from 0 – 2000 uS, which can judge whether water is pure or not. The conductivity value will become lower if there are fewer impurities in the water. It is a pocket-sized device with a separate probe that makes it easy to carry out and operate.

  1. Check the filter condition before measuring.
  2. Check the water conductivity (water condition) by placing the sensor head in the water sample.

product Measuring Consideration

The conductivity value will become lower if there are fewer impurities in the water. For example, distilled water that has higher purity will get a lower conductivity value of approx. <10 uS.

To replace the battery, open the battery compartment/cover and replace the battery with a new one.

GENERAL & PRINCIPAL

  • The quality of the water is getting much more concerned by the human being and it also an important factor in the industrial sectors, laboratories or other fields.
  • In industrial sectors, it would be a great help for the quality of the products if using the good water ( more pure water ) in the process.
  • It also may be the cause of many diseases if home drink water contain impurities & existing high conductivity.
  • Under above conditions, this Pure Water Tester ( Water Quality Tester) are designed to check the purity of water (water conductivity) also can determine the condition of the ” Water Filter ” easily and rapidly.
  • This tester is used to measure the conductivity value (ranging from 0 – 2000 uS) which can therefore judge whether water is pure or not. The conductivity value will become lower if there is much less impurities existed in water (for example, distilled water that its purity is higher than others will get a lower conductivity value of approx. < 10 uS).
  • Besides, many people always take many kinds of procedures on water treatment by install the different kinds of equipment, such as filter or purifier to improve the quality of water. However, most of people do not know whether the procedures or filter is effective and can con- tribute to the quality of water. General speaking, the impurities will be filtered out if the water process procedures attain the expected result, thus we can use this instrument to measure the conductivity value of purified water and to judge the effect of the filter (or water process procedures).

MEASURING PROCEDURE

Check the filter condition

  1. Power on the meter. Hold the Sensor Handle (3-4, Fig. 1) by hand & let the Sensor Probe (3-5, Fig. 1) is immersed wholly into the measuring water, then the Display (3-1, Fig. 1) will show the conductivity values (uS).
  2. First check the reading values ( uS ) for the water not making the treatment ( not via the FILTER ), then record the reading value
  3. Secondary check the reading values ( uS ) for the water that already make the treatment ( after the FILTER ), ref. Fig. 3.
  4. If the water quality already be improved, then the reading values should be change with certain values, otherwise the FILTER is dirty or not under normal condition.

5-2 Check the water’s conductivity (water condition)

  1. Power on the meter.
  2. Hold the Sensor Handle (3-4, Fig. 1) by hand & let the Sensor Probe (3-5, Fig. 1) is immersed wholly into the measuring water refer Fig. 4, then the Display (3-1, Fig. 1) will show the conductivity values (uS).
  3. If the water is pure, then the meter will display low conductivity values, typically. For example, the distill water conductivity value will be approx. less than 10 uS.
    • If the water contain the impurity, then the meter will show the high conductivity typically.
    • From the different water’s conductivity value, user can juge the water quality condition. ( Due to drinking mineral water containing mineral material, when measuring the mineral water if the meter display a high conductivity value, it is normal.)

MEASURING CONSIDERATION

  • The water’s conductivity value should be less than a reasonable value after the “FILTER” be installed, otherwise, the filter is not under normal condition.
  • The conductivity of the pure water will be low value.
  • If the water’s conductivity is high, then the water quality may have some problems. (When test ” Drinking Mineral Water ” , the meter may show the high conductivity value, it is normal)
  • After make the water pure treatment process, the conductivity value should be less.

REPLACEMENT OF BATTERY

  1. When the left corner of the LCD display shows “LOBAT”, it indicates a normal battery output of less than 6.5 V – 7.5 V. It is necessary to replace the battery, However in-spec. measurement may still be made for several hours after ” Low Battery Indicator ” appears before the instrument become inaccurate.
  2. Open the ” Battery Cover ” (3-3. Fig 1) and remove the battery.
  3. Replace with 9V battery and reinstall the cover.
