The Ajax SpaceControl Key Fob is a two-way wireless key fob designed to control a security system. It can be used to arm, disarm, and activate an alarm. It also has light indicators that show when a command has been received or not. The key fob comes with a pre-installed CR2032 battery and a quick start guide.

Product Usage Instructions

Follow the steps below to use the Ajax SpaceControl Key Fob:

1. Make sure the key fob is within range of the receiver device (Hub, bridge).
2. To set the system to armed mode, press the system arming button.
3. To set the system to partially armed mode, press the partial arming button.
4. To disarm the system, press the system disarming button.
5. To activate an alarm, press the panic button.
6. To mute the actuated security system (siren), press the disarming button on the key fob.

Note that the key fob has protection against accidental button presses, so fast pressings are ignored. Hold down the button for a while (less than a quarter of a second) to operate it. The SpaceControl lights show green when a command is received and red when it is not received or not accepted. For more detailed information on light indication, refer to the User Manual.

Assignment of the buttons in using the key fob with Ajax Hub and Ajax uartBridge. At the moment, the feature of modification of commands of the fob buttons when using with the Ajax Hub is not available

KEY FOB CONNECTION

The key fob is connected and set up via the Ajax Security System mobile application (the process is supported by prompt messages). For the key fob to become available for detection, at the time of adding the device, simultaneously press the arming button and the panic button QR is located on the interior side of the device box cover and inside the body at the battery attachment. For the pairing to occur, the key fob and the hub should be located within the same protected object. To connect the key fob to a third party security central unit using the Ajax uartBridge or Ajax ocBridge Plus integration module, follow the recommendations in the user manual of the respective device

USING THE KEY FOB

SpaceControl operates with a single reciever device only (Hub, bridge). The fob has protection against accidental buttons presses. The SpaceControl lights the green light indicator when a hub or integration module receives a command and red light when command is not received or not accepted. • Disarm the system – press the button .
• Switch on an alarm – press the button .

To mute the actuated security system (siren), press the disarming button on the fob.
